I should, and sometimes I do, but mostly I forget. I am the trying to find an ice coffee somewhere when I am desperate for something to drink.

Probably not the healthiest idea as I walk a lot.

Yes, I get heatstroke very easily in but very warm temperatures, my body is shit at regulating temperature. I have to have water/sun cream and a hat all the time when it's 16 degrees and upwards. BlushSad

Cheesymonster · 25/05/2017 13:47

I need to get a nice reusable bottle that isn't too big and bulky and doesn't taste plasticky or leak in my bag. Can anyone post links to theirs please?

NoCapes · 25/05/2017 13:47

No, the kids have their little personalised bottle filled with nice cold water every day ...but I always forget about me and end up stealing some of theirs Hmm

AlpacaPicnic · 25/05/2017 13:50

In very hot weather I like to freeze a bottle of squash overnight , then carry that with me so I can drink it as it slowly melts.
I really should drink more water, I tend to be a bit of a camel. I once travelled from Plymouth to Birmingham on a coach and didn't drink anything so I wouldn't need to use the grim coach loo.

Funnyface1 · 25/05/2017 13:56

I have one whatever the weather.

NotEvenListening · 25/05/2017 13:57

I have been recently. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I have started getting dehydrated very quickly in this heat.

GhostsToMonsoon · 25/05/2017 13:57

I always take a bottle of tap water when I go out, but not just if it's the school run.

givemushypeasachance · 25/05/2017 13:57

I have a S'Well water bottle I picked up at TK Maxx - it's metal so it's sturdy but won't break, it's double walled so if you have chilled contents it doesn't get all wet on the outside, and it keeps drinks cold for ages. I've loaded it up with water and several ice cubes in the morning and there's still been ice in the water by late afternoon. It's fab.

2rebecca · 25/05/2017 13:59

No, only if I'm cycling or hill running or walking. Some people get a bit obsessed by water bottles, usually people who don't do much exercise and are terrified of slightly dehydrating.

Socksey · 25/05/2017 13:59

not in this country... never gets that warm... but when I worked elsewhere and it was high 30s and low 40s....then I did...

StatelessPrincess · 25/05/2017 14:00

I almost always have one with me, including in winter.

Fink · 25/05/2017 14:00

Yes (as in yes, I carry a bottle of water everywhere, not yes YABU!).

I get a bit OCD about having to have water with me everywhere. I quite often have two bottles and I get a bit panicky if I have to be without one/supplies get low and there's nowhere to fill it up. At airports, for example, I desperately swig the whole bottle just before the deadline then leg it to a shop as soon as I've passed security. Sometimes I don't drink much of it, but I can't be out without it.

I second the request for more public water fountains.

BloodWorries · 25/05/2017 14:03

I do, but pretty much all the time. I take tablets regularly throughout the day and feeling thirsty makes me feel nauseous and grumpy.

I will admit I used to use a water bottle, but I just can't get them clean. So I buy packs of bottled water, but refill the bottle for a few days then get a fresh one.
I would like one of those with the filters in, but again it's cleaning the bottle properly. They go grimey and gooey after a few days.

No I never drink water, I hate it. I drink tea and coffee. Very very occasionally flavoured fizzy water if I'm desperate.

Figaro2017 · 25/05/2017 14:04

I'm never out of the pub long enough to worry about water.

AwaywiththePixies27 · 25/05/2017 14:04

Yes I do. Ever since I got heatstroke in the middle of London one heatwave.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 25/05/2017 14:05

I don't carry water with me all the time but I always have a bottle (reusable bottle, tap water, sometimes fruit/mint infused) on my desk at work which I sip from through the day.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 25/05/2017 14:05

Yabu.

usershitloadofnumbers · 25/05/2017 14:05

yes. I commute with Southern, so no one can really guess how long a train journey will take No risk of dehydration, but I do get headaches so why not have water with me.

I never go anywhere further than the end of the street without drinks and snacks for the kids, which has helped me many times in the past!

seafoodeatit · 25/05/2017 14:11

I do regardless as I'm pregnant and constantly thirsty, this hot weather just means I take a larger bottle and now stick it in the fridge beforehand.

Hissy · 25/05/2017 14:12

I do.

I train so have to be hydrated generally or I suffer cramp etc later in the pool.

Am on 2nd bottle so far, and need to drink more before I go later

seafoodeatit · 25/05/2017 14:14
