by the way, over the last 25 years whether someone has appreciated TP has been a good indicator of compatibility. (eg my ex fell asleep in the 1st episode.... I should have known).
I am slightly nervous about how it will live up to itself.

I'm rewatching at the mom - DH is watching for the first time and enjoying it.

Have you seen the cast list on Wikipedia? Donna isn't in the new series, but I think everyone else from the original is.

Goldfish - it is more character than plot driven I feel (although there are some twists). It's not for everyone but worth persisting with a few episodes to see if you can get into it.

Really? I'm very excited. Twin Peaks was the only programme I took the phone off the hook for every single episode.

I hosted a Twin Peaks party for the last episode's airing and we all dressed up and had coffee and cherry pie. I was Shelley. I am so sad that I have lost all my photos of that, in my memory I looked bloody fantastic although pictures might tell a different story!

I am so overwhelmingly nostalgic.
If I could go back and actually live in Twin Peaks I'd be there like a shot. Weirdness and Black Lodges all.

So true Eowyn. Boyfriend before I met my DH I bought the whole thing on DVD for Xmas.l (he hadn't seen it). He broke up with me by Feb and never thanked me for introducing him to it. A lucky escape in retrospect and I met my now DH soon after

We worked through all the old episodes earlier this year in preparation.

For those just starting, you do not need to watch all of the episodes... there is definitely the good half and the second half.

Excited to watch the new series though. You can watch it on NowTV if you don't want a sky contract.

Lurpack - I fear the same may happen to me, or similar, until it is over again. I tend to get a bit over involved in stuff. I was actually in Game of Thrones for months while I read them all.

Really really! I went to a special twin peaks cinema event. I was dressed as Audrey and sis was Nadine. It was an immersive event with TP characters here there and everywhere. It was bloody marvellous. I need to work out how I can share photos with you all...

I recently YouTubed that terrifying moment Bob crawls over the sofa towards the camera.

Something about the weird, stilted way it's filmed. All these years later and still scares the absolute bejeezus out of me!!
