Is 8pm too late to mow the lawn?

If I didn't have a child in bed I probably wouldn't care but as I do have a child in bed I feel a bit annoyed that my next door neighbour has decided to mow his lawn at this time.

I'm not going to say anything, unless it becomes a regular thing, but I was just wondering what people's thoughts were?

Wouldn't bother me but then DD would sleep through a rave in her bedroom. And I'd rather listen to a mower than next doors little shit horrible child being spiteful to the other sides kids or just screeching for no reason Grin

its still light and often quite warm at 8pm. i'd have no problem with

but then a lot of people on mums net seem to have issues with: children playing outside, trampoline springs, shouting children, loudly laughing children, dogs barking, cats that aren't theirs looking at them, children on or near their garden walls, people they don't know being parked near their house (definitely a police matter on here, CALL 101 TO LOG IT was the cry), kids in the street past 3pm, anyone over the age of 13 wearing sportswear looking at their house (CHAVS, TEENAGE CHAVS!), kids bouncing a football in the street, neighbours having friends round in the garden, any music that is above a whisper being played in a neighbours garden, the list goes on...

i'm being lighthearted but seriously. It must be exhausting to be some of the posters you see on here.
