Come out, come out wherever you are!
I know it will mean you will be attacked and preached at, you will be told you are rich, uncaring and hate everyone except yourself, but will anyone stand with me and admit to planning on voting Conservative on June 8?
I can't be the only one surely? I didn't vote the Conservatives in by myself in 2015!

Just seen JC being interviewed on the BBC and he is refusing to say he will take the UK out of the EU

JC refuses to engage politely with a lot of people!
It doesn't mean he has "integrity" etc etc
If you want to see someone's true colours look at how they treat people who are doing their jobs around them - Like how you wouldn't go on a second date with someone who was dismissive and rude to the waiter/waitress, Why would you vote in a prime minister that regularly shows that he doesn't think that jounalists (who are just there to do a job) are even worth responding to? They're citizens too and if he wants to be prime minister he should be answerable to all citizens, he's a fucking diva is what he is!

And DA seems to really actively hate the majority of UK citizens.

Our Tory MP is a typical Tory Toff with a safe seat, however he is always polite to everyone in his constituency and he answers all enquiries and emails (or at least gets someone in his office to send a personal response you're never fobbed off). He is accessible, I've met him and he turned up with notes of research about my concern, listened, asked questions, and really worked at understanding the issue, even if it was one that was somewhat opposed to his party ideals.

I cannot imagine JC ever giving anyone with non socialist concerns that sort of polite respecful time and attention

FelixtheMouse · 09/05/2017 18:14

wason where I an Labour have a good result if they hold their deposit.. If the Labour voters in 2015 had voted LibDem we'd have got the Tories out.

makeourfuture · 09/05/2017 18:45

jounalists (who are just there to do a job)

Many are. Some are just after a soundbyte.

TinselTwins · 09/05/2017 18:48

Many are. Some are just after a soundbyte still citizens.

You don't need to pander to them, you don't need to answer everything, the alternative doesn't have to be treating them with pure distain.

TessTube · 09/05/2017 19:17

Anon, if Jeremy loses the election you think he should stay so he can move the party further left?

How does that square with being for the many not the few then?

Would you really rather get rid of a few "red tories" than listen to the electorate?

Of course he could romp home and this could be a moot point. Hmm

sticklebrix · 09/05/2017 19:44

Fist bump FelixtheMouse

Radishal In our constituency Labour vs LD makes very little difference. I feel very let down by Labour on Brexit and for me it's a central issue.

Justanotherlurker · 09/05/2017 20:27

How does that square with being for the many not the few then?

Ironically " for the many not the few" was a Blair mantra in 97, drop it into conversation when you meet a Corbynite and watch them spin, it's funnier if you go down the route of PR spin before hand though.

TulipsInAJug · 09/05/2017 22:08

Telegraph reporting that 100 Labour MPs are planning to walk out on Jeremy and start a new party post-election.

I am not surprised, it was heading this way for a while. He has literally driven the party into the ground.

I see the OP has had a little temper tantrum and left the thread because she didnt like being made a fool of when she found out that DLA/PIP are not out of work benefits.

cathf · 09/05/2017 22:53

Helena, you really have got a bee in your bonnet about me, haven't you?
I left - as I stated - because the discussion had gone down the usual' all Tories hate the poor' playground insults, and it's all so childish and tiresome tbh.
If you can't debate, attack seems to be the mantra on here.
And no, I don't think I was 'made a fool of' really. In your head maybe, but as you seem to spend all your time stalking me with smartarse comments, you would always think that.

It would be really nice if people would stop Gentile-splaining to those Jewish people that feel threatened by Jeremy Corbyn and his labour party that we're wrong. That it's just a "trope" and we're too stupid to identify actual anti-Semitism. Many of us have been on the end of anti-Semetism many times and we know it when we see it.

If you wouldn't patiently explain to a black person that a white person wasn't being racist, that actually the black person was just a bit thick and gullible, then please extend us the same courtesy.

HelenaDove · 09/05/2017 23:35

Cath You are posting on a public board. Ive been on loads of threads on here. This is just one of many.

I tend to follow a thread once ive first commented on it. Thats not stalking.

So you are making a libellous comment there.
I was the one who was sent abusive PM on your previous thread You have been only too happy to ignore that fact yet you are happy to play the victim of something that hasnt happened. Well whatever floats your boat.

And incidentally DLA is not just paid to ppl of working age Pensioners are paid it too if they started recieving it before the age of 65.

You either got it wrong ( by assuming DLA/PIP is an out of work benefit or wanted to believe it to suit your politics and prejudices.

If someone on the opposite end of the political spectrum to you got something wrong on here you would be the first to point it out.

GrimDamnFanjo · 10/05/2017 00:01

I'm voting LibDem as I have since I was 18.
Did anyone catch the article over on order-order where JC said he's no intention of going if he loses?

cathf · 10/05/2017 00:07

Helena, don't be so silly - libellous? Get over yourself.
And I don't understand why you keep banging on about a PM from some one on my previous thread - unless you are trying to claim it was from me?
You also keep accusing me of playing the victim - I don't suppose you will elaborate on this, but I would be interested to know how you think that?

OP posts:
HelenaDove · 10/05/2017 00:12

I know it wasnt from you. But its interesting how something as simple as me just following a thread and contributing is somehow worse than that.

You are the one who needs to get over yourself accusing me of stalking FFS!

And what a bloody insult to people who have been through that for real.

cathf · 10/05/2017 00:16

Oh God, I give up.
I'm off to bed.

I'm not voting labour, going GreenEnvy

alreadytaken · 10/05/2017 06:10

I shall not be voting Conservative. In some ways I benefit financially from their policies - no children at school, not disabled (yet) or poor - but they are ruining the country financially . Austerity didnt work - the deficit has increased, reducing taxes has not produced a massive increase in prosperity and as they wont take money from the rich they will soon be taking money from the middle earners.

Tories lie - long history of it. They also slag off their opponenets at every opportunity, it is not the left wing who start the slanging matches. The one thing Tories are competent at is lying, they can fool most of the people all of the time.

Teresa May is not a negotiator, her bullying approach will not get a good Brexit.

Not sure who to vote for. The economy was stronger under the previous Labour government - who would have used the money from selling off the banks to cut the deficit rather than wasting it on tax cuts for the rich. The NHS still worked, the average family was better off, the rich still had plenty of money to waste. For all that governments faults it was a government for all, not the few. The current Labour party is not of the same standard but could hardly do worse than the Tories.

Havent forgiven the Lib Dems for the coalition with the Tories.

EezerGoode · 10/05/2017 06:14

I don't want to vote for any of them...useless bunch of cunts..

makeourfuture · 10/05/2017 06:14

Nice synopsis already!

TessTube · 10/05/2017 08:14

I think I agree with you taken only im not as cross about the coalition.

user1473008242 · 10/05/2017 09:08
