Would you report someone for smoking with their child in the car?

Just walked past a woman waiting in her car for infant school gates to open. There was a child in the front seat. She was blowing her smoke out the window and I looked round because I could smell it and wondered where it was coming from.

Or should I just mind my own business?

It's not an overactive imagination! I wrote about in on facebook and someone replied saying "don't you know it's a common place for dogging?". I saw it happen a second time, but it wasn't anything as graphic as that. It was a load of doggers inside their cars with the lights on in when it was dark out.

A lot of stuff has happened in that woods. I was walking back from work once and three plainclothes police officers stopped me, searched me, patted me down and interrogated me. There had been reports of people dealing heroin in the woods and they thought I was looking suspicious because I was on my phone. I was extremely offended, and I actually reported those police officers because one of them in particular was very aggressive with me.

FrenchMartiniTime · 06/05/2017 11:00

Stop going to the woods then!

Why are you alone in the woods in the dark so often?

BastardGoDarkly · 06/05/2017 11:03

Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa you even report the police to the police!!? Priceless Grin

user1493022461 · 06/05/2017 11:09

Now you're telling us you're reporting the police to the police!

Well played Katie, you really had me going for a while there, I thought yu were for real. Brava!!

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 11:09

Well, I don't live by that woods anywhere, I haven't been there for a few years. I live right next to another woods now, but nothing ever seems to happen except for rude teenagers (got asked if I was gay by a little girl the other day).

I never walked in the woods in the dark. It was still quite light out when I was approached by the doggers. The other time I saw the doggers, when they were inside their cars, I was walking by the woods on a footpath next to a road.

'police officers stopped me, searched me, patted me down and interrogated me. There had been reports of people dealing heroin in the woods and they thought I was looking suspicious'

😂😂😂

What is wrong with reporting the police to the police? The police officer was a well built man and he was very rude to me, extremely intimidating. The other two police officers were a lot more respectful. I put it down to him perhaps being new and trying to impress his colleagues, but still, he needed to be warned and sent back to training.

Phyllis you're a hoot Grin

A situation for every occasion

Ah Phyllis, you've jumped the shark now, you went too far. Excellent work though, 8 out of ten at least. Smile

BastardGoDarkly · 06/05/2017 11:32

Agree, a step too far, was fun while it lasted Confused

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 11:34

I've not jumped the shark at all.

There's a user on here that knows me irl. She has me on Facebook. She'll remember these stories. I'm not some sad case writing fiction on the internet.

And this woods is Horsell Common. It's famous because it's mentioned in War Of The Worlds.

user1493022461 · 06/05/2017 12:00

Enough now, it's over. You're done.

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 12:08

You really are such an unpleasant person. These things have actually happened to me and I find it really offensive that you would make out that I've made it up. All to try and better your argument.

You can google about heroin and dogging in my area. It really is not that unusual.

user1493022461 · 06/05/2017 12:09

I'm a lovely person, Katie, and you can keep your dogging and heroin to yourself thanks.

BoysofMelody · 06/05/2017 12:32

I was very amused to see there was a screwfix located nearby.

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 12:33

You're clearly not by the way you talk to people on here.

And I have just gone to the bother of attaching the receipts. I am not some fantasist.

Phylis Please please take me at my word for this. The officer will not be warned and sent for training because you didn't like his attitude. And he can't help his physical build!!

user1493022461 · 06/05/2017 12:35

Reciepts? Do you pay for the dogging experience then?

C&P from your stories on another website isn't going to help you. Give it up now, you were funny for a while but you have to know when to stop.

BoysofMelody · 06/05/2017 12:35

Don't they need a female officer to search a female suspect?

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 12:40

That was part of the complaint.

kali110 · 06/05/2017 13:28

Althought i think the complaint about the police officer is massively ott, i think it is too far to accuse phyllis of making the other things up.
She may well have, but it may well have happened.

nixi86 · 06/05/2017 13:41

So a new officer in the presence of a more experienced officer, aggressively searched you and his more experienced counter part stood by and did nothing?

Any kind of stop and search operation that is being enforced should theoretically carry a female office as a standard procedure for that very reason.

Especially for anything to be viably used in court had they found something. I am sure the police are aware of this.

There is some legislation I raise my eyebrow at in regards to the ability to search in the first place, but I find it hard to believe that when carrying out a questionable search would do so illegally and without the proper measures in place.

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 13:46

There were three men, they were all big and tattooed. I honestly thought I was going to get attacked when they approached me and took my arm. I couldn't stop shaking, and they kept mentioning that. They took the piss out of what I was wearing (only apologising after I took my coat off and they recognised that I was wearing office attire). To be frankly honest, it was a horrible experience. All I got was a slip (which allowed me to quote it on the phone) and then was sent on my way.

kali110 · 06/05/2017 14:12

PhyllisNights that sounds really horrible ( although having tattoos is nothing to do with it!) i hope they were found.
