Would you report someone for smoking with their child in the car?

JigglyTuff · 02/05/2017 09:13

Just walked past a woman waiting in her car for infant school gates to open. There was a child in the front seat. She was blowing her smoke out the window and I looked round because I could smell it and wondered where it was coming from.

Or should I just mind my own business?

I think it's pretty pathetic to call somwone a troll just because they don't agree Confused

PhyllisNights · 05/05/2017 21:52

kali110, I've been called a troll since I joined this forum. That's where my point comes from.

Peanutandphoenix · 05/05/2017 22:10

Phyllis I think you made your point ages ago is there any need to carry on an argument with a complete stranger on the Internet there comes a point when you should learn to be the bigger person and just walk away and you should've walked away ages ago. Your grown woman act like it instead of acting like a teenager in the playground.

If many people think you're a troll maybe you should be asking yourself why. It's not them....

PhyllisNights · 05/05/2017 22:38

Peanutandphoenix, I know, but I am in touch with my feelings & quite a sensitive person.

user1493022461, I am curious as to why a few members of here say that they have a crush on you. Perhaps you post in a masculine way?

user1493022461 · 05/05/2017 22:39

You've never heard of women having a thing for other women? You're not that sheltered, come off it, and you're certainly not sensitive!

Peanutandphoenix · 05/05/2017 22:44

phyllis being in touch with your feelings and being a sensitive person doesn't mean that you have to act like a dog with a bone. Seriously act like the grown woman that your suppose to be and just walk away and let it drop fgs. Seriously dragging an argument out like this is achieving nothing other than making you look like a little bit unhinged. Just be the bigger person and walk away instead of acting like a child. Everyone has a different opinion on things it's called life just agree to disagree and drop it now. Do you argue the toss with people like this IRL or do you just save it for MN.

supermoon100 · 05/05/2017 22:49

I would tell the mother in a very loud annoying voice (so the kids could hear) that it's illegal so for ever more they would harass her!

PhyllisNights · 05/05/2017 22:53

user1493022461, I have lesbians friends, thank you very much, but your particular style of writing would make me believe you are male. Just my opinion!

Peanutandphoenix, you may disagree, but I feel that it's my right to oppose people like user who don't speak for every woman that visits this forum. I have a different opinion, that's all it is!

user1493022461 · 05/05/2017 22:56

Thats rather rude, don't you think?

I think I speak for more women than you do, there are few here who would agree with your more outlandish comments, and no-one stating a crush on you, was there?

PhyllisNights · 05/05/2017 23:01

user, I have female friends that identify as straight women, bisexual women, lesbian women, variances of cis women, variances of trans women & all sorts of everything else.

I really do not possess outlandish comments. There are a few users who has private messaged me in support of my comments.

user1493022461 · 05/05/2017 23:40

So many friends! Hopefully they never do anything you don't like, you'll shop them all.

FYI, many women find the term Cis women to be highly offensive. Not as offensive as your comments on how you'd like to control other womens bodies though. Have you told your rainbow collection of a thousand made up friends about those views?

Peanutandphoenix · 05/05/2017 23:45

Phyllis you may feel that it's your right to oposse user a million numbers comments but you can't go round opposing people and trying to push your opinions on to others. Just give it a rest and move on with your life. This is getting out of hand now and the pair of you sound like silly teenagers. Think you both need to grow up and learn how to walk away.

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 00:24

user1493022461, the feminism sub-forum of women have told me how offensive they find 'cis', thank you. It isn't something I generally use now, but I found it quite appropriate to use in this example.

Peanutandphoenix, why should I walk away? It is what I believe in. I'm a 29 year old woman that agrees with Labour policies. You can disagree with that all you want, it's your choice.

TribeOf5 · 06/05/2017 00:25

Man this has been so entertaining.
But I have to say, there's a lot of hate for one person here, you guys keep saying how they're forcing their opinion and arguing like a child....may I introduce you to the internet..not sure if you're aquatinted but for many years now people have been voicing their opinions on it and no one can stop them. Give it a test telling people what to do, and you say you're pro choice. 😂
Let's remind ourselves what the actual question was. Would you report it. Simples.
There is no wrong answer.
If you are easily offended, may I suggest turning off your computer/phone w/e and reading a book?
I really hope you teach your kids how to voice their opinion without being a complete cockwomble, otherwise the next gen will brake the interests 😉

TribeOf5 · 06/05/2017 00:26

Give it a rest, and internet not interest 😂
Amazing when autocorrect makes you sound like a numpty.

squoosh · 06/05/2017 00:31

Yes. It's amazing.

BoysofMelody · 06/05/2017 00:34

I think the mother was very selfish, fancy sitting there smoking and not getting a pack of silk cut in for the kids to enjoy in the back.

reported people once dogging in the woods. Perhaps some of you think that's unreasonable, but I certainly do not.

No I think it was very public spirited of you. But did you hang around outside the car, just to check something untoward was going on and then keep close observation? Or did you take some video footage of the doggers getting it on your phone to make sure the police had some evidence?

squoosh · 06/05/2017 00:47

Or....did she go undercover and infiltrate the gang by masturbating on a car bonnet?

kali110 · 06/05/2017 01:16

Peanutandphoenix agree, this thread has completely derailed. It's like a schoolyard.
I will say one thing though
phyllis

Can you not see people joking? It's nothing to do with members on here having a thing for user

BoysofMelody · 06/05/2017 01:32

Speak for yourself, I found all of user's masculine talk about drinking 15 pints of lager, fisticuffs and whether Linda Lussadi or Samantha Fox was the favourite page three lovely to be utterly swoon worthy.

PhyllisNights · 06/05/2017 09:26

BoysofMelody, I was walking back from the train station after being at a hen do, I had quite a lot of luggage with me. I saw a naked woman on all fours in the back of an open 4x4 boot. A naked man then approached me with his cock in his hand. I turned around and walked away as fast as I could. When I got further enough away, I then rang the police.

FrenchMartiniTime · 06/05/2017 10:25

Phyllis, I'm sorry but having read some of your posts and your replies on this thread I think you have a very overactive imagination.

You seem to constantly find yourself in sticky situations or coming accross crimes on a regular basis.

I find you extremely entertaining Grin
