It's impossible to say polly without being there, and also - although I've experienced it a few times I'm not medically qualified at all. But. Having had various medical issues over the years, anything that is causing excessive pain that isn't improving, should be seen by a doctor. It's not unusual to see a doctor and be regularly checked over after mc. I'd say if these are your symptoms, plus you have private healthcare, I would insist on seeing someone. I would insist on seeing someone, there may be some tissue or something left behind. Have you got anyone there to go with you for a bit of support? Flowers

I had different experiences, so I had many miscarriages where they lasted about 3/4 weeks once bleeding started, but I was a bit further along 8/9 weeks +.

Usually with earlier losses you'd get the pain but it would be about 2/3 weeks.

How are you feeling now?

I can't say whether it's a normal level of pain because my experience was different. I'm sure it'll absolutely fine, but personally I'd go see the doctor and have it checked just for the peace of mind.

OP - it sounds as if you need to see a doctor again. Sorry you're having such a sad and painful experience.
I expect your posts stir sad memories for many of us. That means we have some idea of what you are suffering, physically and emotionally. Take care.
