To not get the Tom Hardy obsession?

I'm 37 so maybe this is why I just don't get the obsession every female seems to have with Tom Hardy.
He just looks like an ordinary guy to me but the amount of Facebook memes and posts my female friends post about him and I don't get it. What am I missing?

He's got wonky teeth but has refused to have them 'Hollywooded' which I think is a good thing!

I think he's a brilliant actor and loved Taboo but I think he's pretty average really. I also went off him when he walked out on his girlfriend and very young baby for Charlotte Riley. I prefer Cillian Murphy and think he has much more charisma and is much more beautiful.

I don't mind the teeth, I too am bored of generic good looking actors and actresses, pillow faces, super smooth skin, teeth whiter than bloody snow.

Just watched Locke without knowing anything about it, other than it was TH in a car. Wow - it was so gripping! And not just because of Tom's fine acting. Brilliant plot and voice actors and I do love a bit of moral examination.

I absolutely take the point about his teeth. I was joking. His teeth are natural and not the ghastly Hollywood fakes stuck onto the ground-down stumps of one's own teeth.

Tom Hardy could stand still and read the back of the crisp packet and I would fall at an undignified heap at his feet, I've had a massive crush on him since he was in the Martina Cole adaptation (and he was obnoxious beyond belief in that).

My latest crush is the bloke playing Riggs in the new Lethal Weapon on ITV. Mind you, Damon Wayans is in that and he's rather lush as well.

The Take. He was also fantastic in Stuart a Life Backwards and as Sikes in oliver twist.
