To not get the Tom Hardy obsession?

I'm 37 so maybe this is why I just don't get the obsession every female seems to have with Tom Hardy.
He just looks like an ordinary guy to me but the amount of Facebook memes and posts my female friends post about him and I don't get it. What am I missing?

OMG, this thread promoted me to have a look on YouTube and I found a Tom interview with Alex Zane from a few years ago. It's about 20 mins long, called Alex Zanes Guest List. Tom is clean cut, clean shaven (which isn't normally my thing, I like a bit of rough) but my god, he's gorgeous! He's obviously not too comfortable being interviewed, he's constantly fidgeting but when Alex Zane asks him about films instead of himself, he lights up lights up like a Xmas tree! And that's the interview that has the famous wink scene comes from. Any non TH fans will he converts if they watch this. Move over Janmes D, you have competition from your clean cut alter ego!

He has a cracking body and muscular physique in the Dark knight rises, he plays Bane, for those who don't know.
