...to ask if anyone's seen one of these new pound coins yet?

They've been out for two weeks now, I pay for a fair amount of things in cash but I just keep getting old pound coins in my change. Is it just me?

Dp had 2 last week so I've seen them but not had any myself yet. I only usually use cash for parking machines and none around here are accepting them yet so I don't really want any.

I've had a couple, they have a sort of hexagonal shape don't they? I hope they fit in shopping trolleys etc !

I've only seen them at work (shop). They were in an sealed bag in the safe though, not the till. The manager doesn't want us to put them in the till incase we waste them. She doesn't seem to understand that they are here to stay!

I've had 1, just 1 and that was last week. Nothing since despite spending a huge number of notes to try and get my hands on some more. I wonder where they are? Confused

lljkk They have to be dated to the year they were made, even if that's before they were in circulation. They needed to start making them last year to make enough.
