They really are yet get hardly any recognition in the biscuit world. Everyone's too busy arguing over whether a jaffa cake is a cake or a biscuit and 1001 ways to.eat a digestive.

And there sits the humble fruit shortcake, silently in all its chewy, sugary glory. Understated yet steadfast and reliable. I mean it's a reliable fact that if I get my hands on a pack that pack will fall into my gob and satisfys whatever was ailing my need to reach for the biscuits.

Anyways, AITOFSF ?? (( am I the only fruit shortcake fan ))

Fruit + biscuits = healthy snack.
Garibaldis and fruit shorcakes are lush. Fig rolls heavenly.

Fig rolls taste better dunked in coffee rather than in tea.

Are we talking about the strawberry shortcake with lashings of cream and fresh strawberries too? If so YAdefinitelyNBU they are amazing. If you are talking about some other strawberry shortcake please describe it so that I can visualise and judge its yumminess

I don't think you can beat a fresh, warm homemade peanut butter and white chocolate cookie, or a lemon and white chocolate one

Thank you peaceloveandbiscuits I was thinking a strawberry shortcake was shortbread with cream and strawberries stacked up. Those biscuits look tasty but I fewer they may be disappointing in reality
