Ugly new fashions?

Just been browsing the topshop website... AIBU and maybe getting old to think that these clothes are really ugly?

Cold shoulder tops do look stupid BUT they are a good way to show a bit of skin while not exposing the world to your bingo wings (if you're me).

And I'm also not a fan of big embroidered flowers on shirts!!! They are everywhere just now

I have been googling for a nice cold shoulder top but can't find one. They are all a bit strange and look like you need to get the sewing box out.

That flesh/blush pink colour that seems to be in Primark and H&M a lot. Horrible.

annie I bought a blush t shirt from H&M couple weeks ago. It was ok looking in the picture, awful in real life, it got returned today.

Younger colleague at work the other day had a hideous pair of beige high waisted baggy bumed ankle grabbing trousers on the other day. Looked awful! I'm sure i dimmly remember them from the 80's.

Yes it's a nice spring time colour, but you'd have to have really strong colouring to not look completely washed out or sausage like in blush pink

I love all the flouncy flared sleeves. I think it must be the old hippy in me.

I can't bear the twisty front, block heeled mule comeback it's upset me deeply.

Saw these horrors at Pull and Bear the other day.

I saw someone in a pair of furry flip flops the other day. They looked like slippers.

I hate these 'awkward length' trousers. They look shit on the model they won't look any better on mere normal awkward individuals.

Those fur-lined sandal-things - just horrible. Makes the wearer look like a secret werewolf. And if it's warm enough for sandals, who wants furry footwear?

I'm quite a fan of groovy sleeves, though, as long as they aren't too mental/impractical.

Do you think those cold shoulder tops are designed to show off people's shoulder tattoos?

Was just looking for jackets in French Connection the other day and everything is 'oversize' - so effectively a size 10 is actually a size 16 - I mean if I wanted an oversized jacket (and I don't see why I would by the way) then I'd just buy sonething 2 sizes too big, no one needs to manufacture 'oversize'. The fashion for not long enough trousers has been embraced by far too many people. I know we are under stress with Brexit but there is no excuse for such abominations.
