Oh my goodness. How was it allowed to leave the school?

As a teacher myself I despair sometimes!

That made me choke on my Earl Grey a little bit. I'm a teacher and will be discussing this with colleagues tomorrow. I'm confident it's not my school. We'll all be spitting tea.

Definitely have a word!

And thankfull to top it off! Definitely complain. I would get a red pen out and correct it too.

YANBU. DD1 made me a card that said "your" when it should have been "you're." It took every ounce of my being not to pick her up on it. Could not cope with this from school though!

Sadly you can take and retake the literacy skills test.

That is DISGRACEFUL! I can't believe someone who can't use correct grammar is allowed to teach children! Shock

Complain...absolutely not. A gentle note should suffice.

I am not normally one for the grammar hammer but if that was written by a teacher and not a child then I'd be swinging it wildly!

Wow! Shock Yanbu!

It's the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit, tell them.

Report
RachelRagged · 26/03/2017 19:46

Not usually one to leap on this kind of thing, but nonetheless, that is dire. Shock

NewPuppyMum · 26/03/2017 19:47

I'm not surprised. Lots of people type your on here too when it should be you're.
