My son is a Met officer. Thoughts are with all the families involved.

BBC are reporting some French school children have been injured.

Maybe Theresa May will start appreciating the police more now.

Not sure now is the time to start politicising tbh.

They have just been moved to Westminster Abby I believe. There are about 1k people in there according to BBC.

Oh their poor parents just think what they've been going through

As if the French don't already have experience of a terrorist ploughing through innocent pedestrians

Now being reported there are four dead ...

4 dead. 3 further police officers hit on the bridge

4 confirmed fatalities according to live New Scotland Yard press briefing right now, including one armed police officer protecting HoP, and the attacker.

Thoughts and prayers to the loved ones that the police officer and innocent victims leave behind.

Three victims have died, plus the cunt who did it. Hopefully this will not rise.

Are the school children injured rather than killed then? That's a relief, the idea of that really upset me. Still tragic of course whoever it is, but I hope that the children involved at least have a chance of recovery.

Does anybody know why there is still such lockdown? Are they thinking there may have been more than one attacker?

I don't think the school children are injured at all.

A bit gutted that the attacker has died as that is exactly what he would have wanted and now he can't be questioned.

I think they thought there was a bomb. Or had to check.

Bill I did see somronecsay they were searching the building for another attacker I don't know if that means they know there is one or it's just protocol to be very very thorough (obviously)

RJnomore1 multiple news outlets are reporting three high school students from Brittany aged 15 and 16 have been injured.

I have colleagues in there still, I missed it by about five minutes I think, they've been told they'll be let out in an hour, I think they're just evacuating people gradually.

Watching the school children really upset me- they must have been so scared- their parents watching this all this afternoon must have been terrified :(
