We should stand up for women by bringing down UK Punting...

Over the course of a couple of threads recently my attention has been brought to the site UK Punting.

Basically where 'punters' go to rate working girl's and (the married ones) laugh about their wives and swap tips on how to avoid detection.

Apparently the poor little lambs can't help themselves.

Take a look for yourselves: www. ukpunting. com

AIBU that those of us who are genuinely pissed off with the misogynistic bullshit half of the users spout on there should set up fake profiles (not using your usual email address) and spam the shit of them?

And this isn't against WGs....you can do what you like with your body. It's the disgusting human beings that are cheating on their wives and partners and being smug thinking it's a bloody game...

@lampshady: you would be surprised :-)

What i am finding amusing is this indiscriminate demonising of the sex industry by moralistic bores and half-baked feminists. What goes on in the rooms is a microcosm of life in a pressure cooker of confined time and space. On a good day it can be intoxicating but, unlike married life, it is never ever boring!

Fun as it might be seeing escorts will never replace the emotional aspect of a regular relationship. In saying that I twice ended up dating the WGs which came with its own challenges.

Well, after reading this thread, I shall be eschewing shower gel in favour of bleach when I get in the shower this morning

BertrandRussell · 29/06/2017 06:53

Has anyone said that prostitutes work in the sex industry because it's the easiest way to fund their PhDs yet? Or because they love sex so much?

topcat2014 · 29/06/2017 07:06

Somehow I knew this thread wouldn't be about Oxford or Cambridge - but I had to check..

Constructionbook · 29/06/2017 07:08

Man threads like this are depressing. I am a working mum, I am stressed out, I am tired, I'm not 19 and my body has birthed babies, we have very little couple time and I have even less me time. I imagine I am like most mums.

sleighbellend · 29/06/2017 07:14

Keep imagining those little conversations with your 'working girls' (why do these people always use that phrase? Does it feed into some weird Henry Higgins-style fantasy?), I'm sure they're probably thinking that in the language of whichever country they were trafficked from to provide the vital service of giving an sad old man like you something to wank into.

Constructionbook · 29/06/2017 07:17

Sorry posted to soon,

It's horrible to think that my dh would thank me for raising our kids by boning prostitutes and explain it away as a need for more sex. I am sexual and would also like more sex and more exciting sex but I know it's just what happens with young kids. They will grow and we will have time for us again. That's marriage that's partnership that's parenting.

jellyfrizz · 29/06/2017 08:09

You see, sex work in countries where it's legal is seen as a lucrative and empowering career option some women may want to choose, which is a social advancement in terms of the post-modern feminist agenda.

Have you got daughters user? A sister? Would you like to see them empowering themselves in this lucrative career? How about your mum? Would it be empowering and lucrative for her?

BertrandRussell · 29/06/2017 09:12

"You see, sex work in countries where it's legal is seen as a lucrative and empowering career option some women may want to choose, which is a social advancement in terms of the post-modern feminist agenda"

Oh, don't talk bollocks.

FlyingElbows · 29/06/2017 09:15

Yes there is nothing in the whole world more empowering than having no economic choice other than to let a man you don't know shove his cock up your arse! If you're very very luck you might live in country where you're so empowered that you let your child be raped on film for the enjoyment of inadequate western men.

Yes it's just empowerment all round, ladies. Alcoholism? Drug addiction to get from one punter to the next? Vaginal and anal damage? The risk of a beating? Total erosion of your self worth? Stis? The risk of unwanted pregnancy? It's like the manifesto for the Women's Empowerment Party. Someone phone Sandy Toksvig, she'll want in on this. Come on girls, drop your kids, your knickers and your self respect and get on the Empowerment Bus 🚌

Prostitution is viewed as an empowering career/lifestyle option by a significant number of post-Modern feminists:

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_views_on_prostitution

'The proponents of female empowerment through sex work are liberal feminists. Liberal feminists view prostitution as the sale of sex solely for economic gain, and thus it cannot be differentiated from any other sale of goods.'

so your argument is with the feminists who hold this view and not the males who make it possible by providing their patronage. How else would the aspirations of the women who want to take the option of empowerment through sex work be realised if males did not play ball(s)?

The question whether a male would want their daughter or mother to be a sex worker can only be asked by someone stuck in a time loop of judeo-Christian patriarchy in which men make decisions for women. In this brave new post-Modern world of galloping feminism these decisions are made by women themselves - empowered by the career/lifestyle options on offer.

Neutrogena · 30/06/2017 07:00

Helenadave nails it
A much better idea would be to make sure we vote against policies that are more likely to leave women so desperate that they turn to escorting/prostitution because they have no other choice if they want to put food on the table. With Universal Credit some are going weeks and in some cases months without money.

Vote Tory if you like UKPUNTING to continue

itsajungleoutthere · 30/06/2017 07:16

Vote Tory if you like UKPUNTING to continue

Completely agree. I would never have entered prostitution if the only choice i had was that or homelessness for me and my DD.

IrritatedUser1960 · 30/06/2017 07:19

Bloody hell I'm a middle aged innocent - didn't even know such sites existed.

Err no, I'm not asking would you stop your daughter or mother from doing it. You are right, that is not your choice to make.

I'm asking if you would consider it to be an empowering and lucrative choice if it were your family making that choice. Would you consider men fucking your mother up the arse empowering and lucrative for her?

And, as in the way your daughter might come to you to ask your opinion on future careers, would you as equally mention a career getting paid to be fucked up the arse as train to be a doctor or a scientist?

BinarySearchTree · 30/06/2017 09:57

Encouraging a huge influx of MN users to go to the UK Punting website might not be too bad an idea, actually.

We might be able to DDOS their server. Grin

Notreallyarsed · 30/06/2017 10:03

I'm not clicking the link because I'd like my breakfast to remain where it is, although unfortunately I have read things from the site before. My friend works as an escort and her friend was absolutely mauled on that site and it made me sick to my stomach. Vile beyond words, bastards.

Whatsername17 · 30/06/2017 12:37

User, you can dress up what your doing all you want, but, it doesn't change the fact that you are cheating on your wife, putting her sexual healthy at risk, lying, sneaking around and using family money for your own selfish reasons. In short, you are a disgusting, pathetic excuse for a husband and you try to justify your behaviour by blaming your 'boring' marriage. It takes two people to keep a marriage exciting and your pathetic attempts to justify yourself are pitiful. Your posts about feminism are laughable. Own the fact that your actions make you a shit husband.

Lim0ne · 30/06/2017 13:11

This "user" has no doubt never been near a prostitute fgs. He probably barely leaves his bedroom. He's getting off in the fact women are engaging with him on here. It's beyond sad. Don't engage.

user1498780276 · 01/07/2017 04:59

@jellyfrizz:
Your post is judgementalism dressed up in morality. Women fought long and hard to be able to what they want with their bodies - which includes selling it to men, if they so choose. In the process these brave ladies had to overcome the pressures of the male dominated society. But these days, when men have been put in their place, it is mainly the intrusive judgentalism of other females that stands in the way of the ladies keen to empower themselves through participation in the sex industry.

You see, in these enlightened times, it is none of my business how women close to me choose to earn a crust and I have acceted it. But, equally, it is also none of YOUR business and it looks like you have a long way to go...

user1498780276 · 01/07/2017 06:16

@Wharsername17:
You got every single fact wrong in your missive. I am not married at present but when I was I never once cheated on my ex - either with the amateurs or the pros. But hey, who cares about the facts if you can anonymously put a boot into someone with whose opinions you don't agree?

user1498780276 · 01/07/2017 06:27

The more family-minded ladies on this thread may be beginning to see that, viewed from their perspective, feminism is a con. It gave men sexual access to "liberated" women who, in a traditional social model, would be fully committed to their spouses and so unavailable for casual encounters. And these men are - ta, da - your loving husbands! This is why a traditional family is dead and social dysfunction prevails

Lim0ne · 01/07/2017 07:48

User - you've obviously been up all night theorising about this. The thing is, nobody cares, except you and possibly a few other isolated low-lifes on the periphery of humanity.
Real men have principles and integrity - but there is no point trying to explain this to you.
So please crawl back under your rock and stop wittering on.

user1498780276 · 01/07/2017 20:52

@LimOne:
The ability to argue one's point through reasoning - as opposed to just throwing insults - is relatively rare so I'm used to being in a minority.
