I promise I'm no troll, and I'm asking here as I don't have such a wide audience to ask IRL...

I'm going through a divorce, but have met someone I potentially would possibly consider sleeping with at some point soon if things progress and am literally tripping myself up over wondering what's expected "down there"

Makes it worse that he's a little (not by anything scandalous) younger and has a lot more experience than me

What's "the norm" in your thirties?

Personally I wouldn't give a shit. Do what you are comfortable with. If a bloke is that bothered about something so trivial then he ain't worth it.

The norm is that if he cares, he's a dick - your garden, your shears!

If you want a full Hollywood, go for it. If you want a full Judith, go for it. If you want to look like Brian blessed shouting into the night, go for it!

I appreciate if he cares then it's silly... But I sort of care. First time outside of a marriage in nearly 20 years... I just don't want to end up asking him . I'm already a bit nervous but I'd actually quite like to

If he doesn't like it, that's his issue and is obviously too immature to deal with sex

Full on bush here just now. I trim from time to time but find anything else irritates my skin and I'm happy as is

Why not just go for a middle ground?

Whatever you do just read up on the potential dangers first. Many medical experts believe it's not healthy so I'd be inclined to worry about that part than the aesthetic.

How brilliant, well done you on your new adventures! If you want to get waxed maybe visit a nice salon & ask the beauty therapist what she reckons (but do it a few days before the big day and take some painkillers an hour or so before, especially if it has been a while!), I personally would go for a tidy up rather than a hollywood but it is your call! Also the bush trimmer on the Wilkinson sword quattro is brilliant for taming the area too (you can use it all over - has a safety thing that means you won't hurt yourself)! But has previous posters say - its all about what makes you happy, I'm sure he'll just be happy to have made it to the garden at all ;) Good luck

I would say start as you mean to go on!!

I try & keep it neat & trimmed but when single, I've had requests from blokes to both shave it all off and to let it grow so I think just do what you're comfortable with. Good luck getting back out there, have fun!!

I quite like to feel like a woman not a small child... Plus it hides some scars from old operations

But I'm slightly concerned most people may be hairless these days and it might be because there's a male preference for it?

Full on here, with a little trimming of the stragglers.

I also use hair conditioner on it, and it makes a world of difference. Pubic hair is not like head hair, it's wiry!

I'm early 30s, between myself and my close friends we probably have one of each style, so there isn't really a normal.

Only exception to that is that none of us completely leave it to grow wild, even the friend of mine who leaves it pretty full still tidies the edges.

Mid thirties and only lightly trimmed when I can be bothered. Never shaven or waxed or immacced (too irritating).

I know it's about me and what I want, and if it wasn't going to be my first time with another man in forever... I'd overthink it far less. I just want to be as confident as I can be for that nerve wracking first time.

But now that I am here and have corrected my misunderstanding will someone please take advantage of the anonymity of online and tell me - and others - what is a full Judity?

Judith in The Life of Brian had a full-on bush which allegedly won it's owner, Sue Jones Davies the reputation of having 'the best bush in Hollywood'. My friend used to live next door to her, curiously.
