I think Pence in some ways is worse than Trump, but at least he will generally remain within the law. I don't think Pence would take us into war like Trump will - I don't seem to recall seeing any Pence ties to Russia (does anyone else??). Pence is more the religious fanatic - but not in scary "let's take the world to God" kind of way. There will sadly be damage either way - but it's likely to be lesser damage with Pence at the helm.
