A very very beautiful, very beautiful placemark, from an ex-lurker who's great, just great.

I am just wondering what he needs to do to get some of his most vocal supporters here to actually say 'that's fucking mad'.

A lot of them are supporting some things he says but NOT criticising other things.

When Hopkins or Farage says that something has gone too far, then we are probably already at war...

Yes, thank you andholdthebun
Unfortunately they are focusing on the abortion aspect, and not the myriad of free health care provided and much needed.
I owe PP my life. So, needless to say, I am a massive supporter.

blueskyinmarch · 02/02/2017 19:54

I am going to place mark on this thread as I have found the other threads to be very interesting but I don't actually have anything to add myself. Thanks to all who gather this information

CaveMum · 02/02/2017 19:55

Placemarking too.

I had an argument with a Trump supporter on Facebook who argued that his (English) wife had to wait for a US VISA/Green Card but that because it was "what you have to do" they "sucked it up" and so anyone from the banned countries should do too. Of course he couldn't see the difference in a Westerner applying from the safety of a country like the UK and a refugee fleeing possible death in a war zone Hmm

Federal funding for all mosques...

Ohmrsq, I'm sure many women owe them their lives, the provide desperately needed services, and I hope that continues.

We are so lucky here in the U.K. and so many of us don't even realise it.
DS 's American student girlfriend was utterly amazed that she could access free contraception here (and medical care too) for the duration of her studies...

Chippednailvarnishing · 02/02/2017 20:00

I know someone who voted for trump as they felt Hilary had let down the military.
They have been suspiciously quiet about the raid that the people were killed in...

OhMrsQ · 02/02/2017 20:03

AndHoldTheBun absobloodylutely.
I really, really hope it does.

deblet · 02/02/2017 20:05

Thank you so has he disbanded or banned planned parenthood?

PlectrumElectrum · 02/02/2017 20:06

Bigly mark. The best. Beautiful.

FlouncingInAWinterWonderland · 02/02/2017 20:07

I just watched channel 4 news and I just don't understand, amoungst so much else that's going on, why a British citizen who has regularly travelled the Atlantic as a cardio surgeon suddenly wasn't allowed entry anymore to the US based on her surname. I've googled but can't find what it was. I feel like changing my surname, but more realistically would add the name to my mumsnet name as a peaceful protest.

Surely we can't allow our fellow citizens to be categorised by this maddness - that has to be something we can find a way of standing up against.

In honour of this most beautiful thread that I just love to read, it is like reading the words of angels, and to demonstrate my continuing commitment to defeating all other threads that are full of bad guys, what do we get out of them existing anyway?...I have, I want you all to know... Made a small change to my username. Grin

OhMrsQ · 02/02/2017 20:09

deblet no, not yet. He does want to defund PP though, as he is pro-life.

I wonder if he knows that abortions only make up about 3% of the services offered there?

Incidentally, demand for IUDs has gone up 900% since the election.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2017 20:10

woman12345 · 02/02/2017 20:13

that she could access free contraception here
How much does contraception cost in US, out of interest?
I read that it was $1000 to get a coil fitted and lots of women are doing that now.
Is there an organisation which is helping send contraception stuff to US?
I know there is one to help with women from NI, who are not allowed abortions. www.asn.org.uk
