I can vaguely remember similar threads but have done a search and can't find a bedroom one. We are swapping rooms in our upstairs to even out the other 2 rooms so moving from front to back of house. Just being nosy looking for inspiration if anyone is willing to post? I can post our current one once DS is asleep Smile

It is interseting how many ofy ou have double beds. My parents had single beds. The queen even has separate bed rooms. I had separate beds and two duvets but 100% of people on here seem happy to share a duvet and often fairly small beds with their other half. It must be true love,......

I used to work on interior magazines and recognise some of these images from shoots. Google image search has had the term 'master bedroom' used a lot today ;)

Enormous - I have a superking for just me!!! That is why the bed is basically the whole room. Have four kids though so lovely for cuddling/movies as well as rolling all around all night (was sideways last night).

EssentialHummus · 03/02/2017 17:54

clairep - is that Farrow & Ball "Blue Black" on your wall and if not, what colour is it? I need my living room doing, and wanted something like that.

Autumnchill · 03/02/2017 17:54

JamieFraser love that canvas

Itsworldwar3outthere · 03/02/2017 17:57

Absolutely love Summerwood's room on page 3. Huge windows and stunning view, loads of natural light...aah!

lbsjob87 · 03/02/2017 17:57

Strangely enough, I was going to start a similar post but for a different reason, mine is such an absolute bomb site and I was hoping someone's was worse looking for inspiration.
But these are all gorgeous, so now I feel grumpy better and inspired, thanks...

Dreamstosell · 03/02/2017 17:59

MagicMojito my room definitely has that pile of not necessarily folded clothes and so I'm not showing a picture.
it may of course have a few piles of other things too at the moment

My room first imagine and guest room second imagine.

If you reverse imagine them you will see my whole house ... lol. I move in 2 weeks today!

I'm not sure my room is particularly nice, lol, but my bedroom furniture is a favourite, we bought it as a wedding present to our selfs 10 years go.

Essential it's F&B Hague Blue. We have used their Modern Emulsion (as opposed to the traditional, chalky finish) since having kids... The grubby prints just wipe off!

Dreamstosell · 03/02/2017 18:02

Oops didn't realise this thread was so long! That was a response to a remark on page one Blush

ebay, they have similar styles, but I totally heart this one.

In the dinning room and bathroom, we have we have Sarah Taylor Highland Fling canvases, I love the designs but for the bedroom wanted a more natural look.

PuntCuffin · 03/02/2017 18:05

Tempted to go and take a picture of mine. Except it has no light and it is dark outside. It also has no window, bed or other furniture, no carpet, only has plaster on 3 walls and is piled high with other building materials.
It'll be great when done but 9 months into a 3 month build while we camp downstairs is getting a little tedious!

MsJamieFraser · 03/02/2017 18:06

The bathroom canvas

Thank you - that's exactly what I need!

In our house the master bedroom is dd's bedroom as the small bedroom is not decorated for a child (rented house). Myself and dp have the small bedroom and can't even fit a wardrobe in it Grin

morgainfae · 03/02/2017 18:10

This was last year when we first decorated. It's now got a dressing table too and we've just had the windows re-done so currently covered in plaster Shock

I want your bedroom it's stunning!

EnormousTiger · 03/02/2017 18:18

So actually my two zipped and lined single beds with 2 duvets are the almost the only single beds on the whole thread I think. Most people even if the live alone have some kind of double bed. I think that's generational change from 30 years ago (when we bought our beds - they have lasted well). yet rooms must be smaller. Most people will be married so we can understand the double bed. If they aren't they probably just still have space for a double bed I suppose. I have never regularly slept in a double bed in my entire life actually and I don't suppose I ever well.

Ferrisday · 03/02/2017 18:19
