AIBU to be absolutely sick of people asking 'AIBU'?

I can't believe that on such a site as this where parents go for advice or a chat that everything is based around 'AIBU'!
I hadn't been on here for a while but it is just full of this - please think of something else to post and slow down on the AIBU's.
Am I the only one who is tired of this? Seriously, let me know if I am - maybe I'm missing something or maybe there are more important things for people to post about?

If you're tired of this, there is a very, very simple solution...

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 24/01/2017 17:33

Are you asking if you're being unreasonable?

If so, yes, yes you are.

HTH

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 24/01/2017 17:33

YABVU

Plus you don't get to decide what is or isn't important for people to post about.

honeyroar · 24/01/2017 17:33

You just posted on here yourself! Go and start a thread on another board then...

This really must be a troll/joke thread, surely?

ChocoChou · 24/01/2017 17:34

YABU. Why did you post this in AIBU, this could have been posted in Chat.. ?!

RuggerHug · 24/01/2017 17:34

Yabu. HTH.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 24/01/2017 17:34

You could actually hide the topic... I do that with a lot of them that I'm not interested in. It saves the hassle of starting a thread to whine about them Grin

liz70 · 24/01/2017 17:35

YABU.

"To be unreasonable, or not to be unreasonable; that is the question."

mum2Bomg · 24/01/2017 17:35

This is going to go well..

Yanbu.

Aibu to ask what colour socks you're wearing?

Aibu peas?

Aibu my family abused me

Aibu to have Crosse & Blackwell baked beans instead of Heinz

Aibu to ask for comparisons between 2 really obscure private schools in the home counties?

Put it in the correct fucking topic!

cherrycokehead · 24/01/2017 17:40

This is a joke right? Confused

FlyingElbows · 24/01/2017 17:41

Aybu to think iiu that people are asking if tabu? Or something. You do know you can not read this? And what's with the "parents go for advice or a chat" thing? Do you mean we can only talk about baby food, sippy cups, nappies, potty training and sleep problems or inane drivel? I do hope not.

liz70 · 24/01/2017 17:41

AIBU to be unsure which section to post my query in?

barinatxe · 24/01/2017 17:43

YABU! This forum is called "Am I Being Unreasonable" so that is why there are so many threads using this as a starting point! Look how many options there are if you want to discuss / read about something else!

Highalert · 24/01/2017 17:43

Yanbu

Barefootcontessa84 · 24/01/2017 17:44
Hmm
Highalert · 24/01/2017 17:48

Why the Hmm face? The OP makes a good point.

DesolateWaist · 24/01/2017 17:50

It does piss me off when people say stuff like:

AIBU to ask what colour tights to wear, or such like but other than that I don't give a shit.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 24/01/2017 17:50

The OP makes a good point.

Do they?

DesolateWaist · 24/01/2017 17:51

AIBU to post here even though I'm not a parent?

Would anyone like a can of worms opening?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 24/01/2017 17:52

I'm not a parent nor ever wanted to be.... are you new around here?

Why can't you hide the topic if it gets you so aerated? I have most child related topics hidden - perhaps I should unhide them and go and ask why people post on them and tell them not to?
