I'm not a Trump-lover ... but how about a challenge, MN? Instead of a thread full of woe, let's find something nice to say about the POTUS. Anything. I'm sure you can if you try! Let's see how far we can make it. I'll start.

I really like the strength of his hair products...

Synchronised miniature plane take-off.

This guy is terrifically talented - it takes a seriously high IQ to be able to do this, and do it well.

His blue coat looked smart yesterday from the back.
He is keeping a hair dye company in business between him and his family with the various shades of blonde. The same with a fake tan company.

snapcrap · 21/01/2017 08:00

I like that he remembers to change Melania's batteries before she steps out in public (though they nearly ran out during the speech he forced her to do).

Itisnoteasybeingdifferent · 21/01/2017 08:12

He knows what he wants and gets it...

The secret to working with him is to understand what he wants.

HateSummer · 21/01/2017 08:17

I like that he's old so the probability of him dying is quite high.

throwingpebbles · 21/01/2017 08:21

I like that any particularly toxic smelling trumps emitted in my house are now called Donald's

throwingpebbles · 21/01/2017 08:24

and his election means that the UK no longer holds the record of being "country whose turkeys are most inclined to vote for Christmas".

Oh yes and this ^^ (quotes dolly)

dementedma · 21/01/2017 08:31

His wife looked incredibly elegant yesterday.....

Joysmum · 21/01/2017 08:47

I like the fact that people are gradually rethinking how wise it is to viciously accuse those they don't agree with of being uneducated, stupid or racists etc because this caused Trump to be so popular!

Hopefully people will wake up to the fact that you need to understand the feelings and thought processes of those who don't agree with you and then use this to engage and debate with them in ways that will get them thinking.

Name calling and belittling drew enough people from the middle towards the extreme to make Trump/Brexit happen, and shock [the supposedly clever] people who had no idea because they alienated so many!

Time to change this way of doing politics before you do even more damage.

Rainmaker1 · 21/01/2017 08:54

I like his opinion of the UK, hopefully we will be at the front of the queue for a trade deal (fuck you Obama!)

Littledrummergirl · 21/01/2017 08:58

I like that every time someone says "president Trump" I giggle. It's a great joke but really needs to come to an end now before laughter turns to tears.

IAmNotAUserNumber · 21/01/2017 09:03

He has bolstered sales of wool and fleece (see Pussy Hat Project)

Gileswithachainsaw · 21/01/2017 09:07

I like the fact he's human. Which means he's mortal. With the fact he's overweight and in a high stress job the world might be rid of him soon enough...

IAmNotAUserNumber · 21/01/2017 09:11

He is a committed family man. So much so, he has created several.

GloriousGusset · 21/01/2017 09:14

'I like his opinion of the UK, hopefully we will be at the front of the queue for a trade deal (fuck you Obama!)'

Oh bless.

The UK may find itself at the front of he metaphorical queue. But it can expect to have its metaphorical balls squeezed until they're purple. He will be looking out for the US' interests. He won't give one flying fuck about the UK unless it benefits him.

LaCerbiatta · 21/01/2017 09:24

I like that he was a great inspiration for Biff Tannen.

True story btw!

Oh, sweet!

Like he gives two fucks about anyone except the US.

TheClaws · 21/01/2017 11:20

Light-hearted!

I don't think you can control the tone of a thread when it's about someone so divisive.

BishopBrennansArse · 21/01/2017 11:31

I like that he makes the leadership of this country look sane and socialist.

snapcrap · 21/01/2017 11:33

YY Joysmum times a million

pinkhousesarebest · 21/01/2017 11:36

We are getting our friends back after 5 years in the U.S. Thanks Donald.

alltouchedout · 21/01/2017 11:41

I like that as soon as someone says they support him, I can write them off as a complete tosser without wasting any more time on them.

TheClaws · 21/01/2017 11:53

I know, Mitzy, but I'll give it a try before it all descends into a fight - not the intention of the thread at all. This is just for a bit of a laugh which I think we all need right now Smile
