I recon there must be loads of famous people on here! Holly Willoughby - totally on here. Everyone from Loose Women - here! Are you a famous? If you are then NC and then post and NC back - I'd love to know!

Hahaha I'm so curious to know who everyone is now! Lol

Not famous here. I've met quite a few celebrities though, including Pat Sharp! Haha And literally bumped into Richard Hammond at Victoria station once. Both rushing, and neither looking where we were going. He was very polite.

I always get a bit she'll shocked when I see someone famous. Never know what to say or do, so mostly pretend I haven't noticed them! Haha like a big, shy kid.

My dentist is the beautiful man who does the dental reconstructions on embarrassing bodies. I've never visited the dentist so often as I seem to have to now...

chocolateworshipper · 16/01/2017 19:18

I've been interviewed on TV

glitterglitters · 16/01/2017 19:24

I'm not famous but I've met famous people. My brother has loads of famous people who are "friends" from his work. It used to be cool but he's having a midlife crisis now and started name dropping constantly (something he never used to do) and it's just irritating. I've also never quite forgiven him for taking a call from a client during Christmas dinner Hmm

fairiedemon

Is your husbands previous facial hair kept in a fridge?

Mollyringworm · 16/01/2017 19:31

I'm infamous. In my area anyway. I shagged the headteacher at one of my kids schools and everyone found out - he was actually shagging two other mums too (I didn't know)

I'm known as "that blonde mum from s** high school wot shagged the headteacher. Does that count?

Lynnm63 · 16/01/2017 19:38

I'm not famous and don't know anyone famous. The closest I came was meeting Prince Philip as a teenager. Two school friends and I were doing our gold DofE award and we were introduced to him and he looked at our presentation about mortgages. We were on local news for about 20 seconds. He was lovely but I was very shy then.

Perola · 16/01/2017 19:48

If getting Gold D of E presented by Prince Phillip is worth mentioning then I can join in. I'm definitely not famous though. I was on TV for about 2 seconds once.

OdinsLoveChild · 16/01/2017 19:51

Im not famous but my name is. I have even had threats of being sued if I dont stop calling myself my married name. The really crap thing is I have been called this name longer than this famous person has been alive doing their job.

I have a famous friend and we were chatting about this thread today. I laughed that I didn't know anyone famous, she threw me a death stare and promptly declared that she's bloody famous, hmmmm yes I suppose she is but she doesn't act like she is shes just my friend. She's on here too Grin

NotShittingYou · 16/01/2017 19:57

she threw me a death stare and promptly declared that she's bloody famous

I see what you mean. Clearly doesn't act like she's a spoilt brat famous at all.

Ihavemyupsanddowns · 16/01/2017 20:00

I am on This Morning with the lovely Holly and I am sure she is on here all the time. Mumsnet is a haven for all parents.... whether on telly or doing something far more useful.

Foxywoody · 16/01/2017 20:01

WorraLiberty so glad I'm not the only one!! It also makes me cross that they are sent 'freebies' when they could afford to buy the product.....

GimmeeMoore · 16/01/2017 20:07

Lovely Holly?shes vacuous.a speak your weight presenter.
Bit of a clothes horse for the easily distracted...oh did You see the dress she wore
The staged managed photos, discreetly caught on a private beach by paparazzi she tipped off

Mojomarm · 16/01/2017 20:09

Not famous but did appear on Pointless and was 'recognised' by my dental hygienist about 5 months later. Made me a LOT happier than it should have. Especially since I looked at twitter while the show was on to find I was getting slagged off by random peeps - I wasn't that annoying!

Was also on Page 3 in the Sun ..... but that was because I was sat behind a woman with big tits who was on The Big IQ Test (or whatever it was called) when it was on tv about 10 years ago

JessiCake · 16/01/2017 20:12

I've NC'd... not famous by any stretch of the imagination (I wish...) but I am an author... lots of books published...

Mysticstar13 · 16/01/2017 20:19

My mother attended twiggys 21st birthday party with Mary quant. But I'm that plain /strange and boring with no friends, iv never met any one famous.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 16/01/2017 20:23

I know JK Rowling in real life. Grin

JessiCake · 16/01/2017 20:24

ChickenVindaloo - ah, sadly for my bank balance I am not she Grin

Newbrummie · 16/01/2017 20:27

I met Divina at the NCt she looked like shit and was bricking it just like the rest of us

pinkstripeycat · 16/01/2017 20:29

My husband is so laid back that he isn't impressed, phased, awestruck or star struck by anyone famous. He's more likely to get hysterical and silly if he sees his best mate in the supermarket!

ChickenVindaloo2 · 16/01/2017 20:37

I say I "know" her, Jessie, but she is my colleague's sister...still think that makes me famouz enough for this thread!

HalfaFishFingerAndTwoPeas · 16/01/2017 20:39

Im not but my friend's, cousin's, boyfriend's, sister's, goldfishes ex owner was an extra on chuckle vision in the 90's.

JessiCake · 16/01/2017 20:45

ChickenVindaloo, that's good enough for me!!

ConfessorKahlan · 16/01/2017 20:48

I'm Batman.

CatThiefKeith · 16/01/2017 21:16

Sheila Chipperfield from Elastica is on here and has seen this thread...
