I'm sure there has been times where OP has been on AL and popped out, but most carer visits aren't that long (usually between 15-30 minutes) so the OP's drive would have been unlikely to have been occupied for that long, hence why she would have missed them.

Manumission · 10/01/2017 17:30

carrot a carer who had been told by her employer that she had permission to park on the neighbour's drive has just been screamed at on the doorstep.

And you don't care if that's real or not because you find it enjoyable?

Okay then Hmm

seven201 · 10/01/2017 17:31

The bloody cheek of it. I do feel bad for the carer having to take the brunt of it though. I wallis be furious. I got blocked in on my drive once - I wrote them a note in capitals and used a lot of exclamation marks!

IRegretNothing · 10/01/2017 17:31

Bahhhhhumbug Second car is Nicholarse's wife's other carer. She has two who alternate

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 10/01/2017 17:31

bird it was just troll hunting "God some of you are gullible" tosh I think.

paddypants13 · 10/01/2017 17:31

P.S. Op you might want to get your number plate on your previous pic covered up if MNHQ can do that?

Best wishes and Cake for you.

GinnyWreckin · 10/01/2017 17:31

So?

TheDailyWail · 10/01/2017 17:31

I can't believe the cheek of them!

imip · 10/01/2017 17:32

Damn, 2 whole threads so I need to post!

Why the fuck wouldn't nicolarse clear the shit off his driveway if he needs space for a carer to park for 8 hours a day??

Dickhead!

Carrotcakecustard · 10/01/2017 17:32

Sparkling really??? Someone that has taken advantage and lied for 3 years then ignore the female persona and write a note for the man of the house? Hmm

MollyHuaCha · 10/01/2017 17:32

Brilliant thread! And something tells me it's not all over...

Guiltypleasures001 · 10/01/2017 17:33

Ok just had to ask, is it me or does that plant growing under the white canopy look suspiciously like cannabis? Hmm

beansbananas · 10/01/2017 17:33

Just catching up on this after being at work... genuinely can't believe the cheek of it. They've clearly clocked when you leave and return home every day, for them to be getting away with it for so long! What do they do when you have a day off or over Christmas holidays? What does Caroline do with her car THIRD car then? So many questions... I can't wait for you to confront her! Surely they can't keep trespassing on your property like this? You must stand your ground and say that after understanding the level of deception that's been going on for years, that no one is allowed to park in your driveway from now on!!!

MoonfaceAndSilky · 10/01/2017 17:33

My only thoughts are for the man whose wife has had a carer for the last 6 years having pictures of his drive/garden/notes posted on the internet for judging while he gets accused of all sorts.

Oh God, i'm now feeling a bit sorry for Nicholas. How old is he OP?

TiddlesUpATree · 10/01/2017 17:33

It's a bit off of them both using the drive and assuming you will be ok with it but bloody hell if you didn't know about it till now it's obviously not been an issue for you. The neighbourly thing to do would be allow the carers to continue using it when you're not there

. I'm glad you're not my neighbour. One day you might need carers or some other help.

tygr · 10/01/2017 17:33

Not trying to stick up for Nicholarse but maybe he couldn't remember your name and thought at least addressing your DH was better than Dear neighbour? Especially when he's asking a huge favour.

IRegretNothing · 10/01/2017 17:34

LIZS i expect the carer's bluebadge is Nochalas's wife's badge that she's borrowing

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 10/01/2017 17:34

My neighbours and I park on each other's drives frequently.
We never argue about it.
We are a grave disappointment to mumsnet

OnionKnight · 10/01/2017 17:34

Of all the things I've accused of, being a member of H & H is bizarre.

SundialShadow · 10/01/2017 17:34

@birdladyfromhomealone - Glad you got your mystery sorted. Might be an idea to talk to the carer you yelled at when the dust has settled. She did not cause this issue and thought she had permission to do park on your drive.

It's Nick the arse that you should be saving your yells for.

Bahhhhhumbug · 10/01/2017 17:34

Ah I see thanks Regretnothing. Some reason I thought woman next door told OP that was Cuntalines other car as she has three . I am clearly rapidly losing the plot Confused

Ditsyprint40 · 10/01/2017 17:34

😐😂

Carrotcakecustard · 10/01/2017 17:34

Manu ohhhhh I feel the guilt not
Go home 😴😴😴

ChristopherWren · 10/01/2017 17:34

I agree with Sparkling. And also find it rather sad that you could live next door to people for 3 years and not know that your neighbours elderly wife has carers for 6 hours a day......

Did your husband speak to Nicholas and say it is ok for the carers to park there?

Manumission · 10/01/2017 17:34
