Manu the questions were answered already

chocolateworshipper · 10/01/2017 17:24

For the first time since joining MN, I genuinely don't care if this is real or not - I've had bloody good fun - so thanks OP

girlandboy · 10/01/2017 17:24

I am staggered Shock

birdladyfromhomealone · 10/01/2017 17:24

Onionknight are you sidesaddle from horse and hound?
I guess you are
It must be terribly sad to have such a boring life you have to history hunt through old threads to accuse someone of lying.
I dont think anyone would make up a story like this.

Judging by the other thread and posters on here this is a thing now! Wonder how much it's going on up and down the country?! All those people parking for free on other people's land. As if it's a normal thing to do!!!

diddl · 10/01/2017 17:25

So Caro has three cars & 2 are always/often on her drive so that she uses Op's drive for the 3rd in restricted times?

What a lot of titting about!

And NDN needs to clear his drive so that he can provide parking for his wife's carers!

Lumberries · 10/01/2017 17:25

No, if the carers have already parked up why would they then move their cars onto her drive Confused?

onestepforwardtenstepsback · 10/01/2017 17:25

Can someone link to the first thread please because I seem to be missing it

Carrotcakecustard · 10/01/2017 17:26

Exactly chocolate SmileSmile

Nanna50 · 10/01/2017 17:26

You know where she lives though, either the carer can tell you or you can see where her car is when she brings it back. So you can go and tell her to fuck off.
Not sure that it's fair the Carer gets the brunt of it, she probably believed that it was ok and had been arranged, especially after so long.
It's the neighbours that are the twats, 3 years they've been taking the piss.
You clearly need flexible parking posts on your drive.

onestepforwardtenstepsback · 10/01/2017 17:26

Sorry just seen link how I missed that I don't know

WhatchaMaCalllit · 10/01/2017 17:27

That's unreal OP.

Can you contact the council and report vermin (or some such) that you think is coming from your neighbours house due to the clutter and debris that is being 'stored' on their two-car driveway. Also, while in conversation, mention that carers are using your driveway without your permission, have been doing so for the past number of years and you want them advised that they are no longer allowed to park in your driveway.

Get the council and local health authority to deal with it.

Oh, and get a chain or bollards or some sort of device that prohibits cars from entering your driveway.

Can you fit gates? Would that be an option?

RayofFuckingSunshine · 10/01/2017 17:27

DH suggests you put something breakable on your drive and then cause problems for them with criminal damage complaints.

Stormtreader · 10/01/2017 17:27

I assume that if the carers found a car already in the drive, they park in the pay and display nearby, not a huge mystery really.

My only thoughts are for the man whose wife has had a carer for the last 6 years having pictures of his drive/garden/notes posted on the internet for judging while he gets accused of all sorts.

Sad
BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 10/01/2017 17:28

It would be mean to report the carer about the blue badge. The OP argument is with Nicholas.
As far as the carers are concerned, the OP is perfectly happy for them to use her drive, not their fault Nicholas misled them

PaulAnkaTheDog · 10/01/2017 17:28

That's actually very true Sparkling, I hadn't even thought of that.

AmeliaJack · 10/01/2017 17:28

I don't understand - am I correct in thinking that all this could be avoided if two of your neighbours shell out £80 each for two permits a piece?

I'd be fitting bollards or gates I think.

Bahhhhhumbug · 10/01/2017 17:29

But didnt you leave an arsey note on Cuntalines other car ? So she has come back , read the note and then still gone and got another car and parked that there instead?? More neck than a turkey farm that on .

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 10/01/2017 17:29

Oh come on sparkling he's been pimping OP's drive out without permission for 3 years but he gets a free psd because his wife needs a carer? He had an alternative solution - a permit at £40 a year - which he refuses to pay for. But is happy to take advantage of OP. He's a twat.

paddypants13 · 10/01/2017 17:29

Ohhh I would be hopping mad op! The bloody cheek of Nicholarse and Cuntaline. It's your drive and you, your dh and your visitors should be able to park there at any time! The cheek. I am Shock

Nicholarse and Cuntaline would be getting my boot up their arses.

LIZS · 10/01/2017 17:29

If carer's blue badge is genuine Hmm she probably wouldn't even have to pay in the pay and display.

MadMags · 10/01/2017 17:29

The troll hunting is so tedious.

Report it. Job done.

Personally, I am wholly entertained and don't actually care if it's real or not!

Now, OP, what are you going to do about Caroline's new car?? Can you have it towed off the drive?

I would also be telling Nicholarse nobody has permission to park on your drive anymore. You really are going to have to get chains or something.

birdladyfromhomealone · 10/01/2017 17:30

Can someone please PM me what OnionKnight said the had to be removed three times?
