Recommendations for companies.

Or otherwise Smile

I know very little about the ins and outs of the law, but how does one prove libel?

Obviously, this has nothing to do with teepees but I was just curious. You know, for a friend. Apologies for taking this lovely thread massively off topic! Wink

I'm sorry your other thread was deleted.
It all seemed factual what you were saying, but I'm not a lawyer....

Anyway back to teepees, you could always go for an old fashioned indoor Wendy house as an alternative.

I would advise anybody buying a teepee to ALWAYS look at the reviews, especially the one -star ones. Google whichever company you are buying from and rather than just looking at the star rating/mark out of ten click on the negative one-star reviews for recurring issues.
The problem these days is when you only rely on Facebook or twitter you might not get the full picture as any negative feedback can be removed or entirely ignored. Tweets can always be found in tweet tunnel but for ANY purchase and particularly when items are not on the high street I would ALWAYS advise: Do your research. Always pay by Paypal whenever you can.

Also be aware of how many parenting websites get given freebies. This means they were given a free good quality product delivered on time. Positive reviews would be justified in this case.
Be careful of companies where if you do your full research you find two extremes: either five star or one star rating.

Where can I get a plumfy from??

Manumission · 10/01/2017 14:51

The freebie/review culture is a massive problem isn't it?

(That clothes rack one is clever)

manu you know me already! ~ I do actually love that pink sparkly TeepeeGrin ~ I could have had 4 of them compared to my single oneShock

Chloe84 · 10/01/2017 15:10

Have you tried www.hairdirect.com ?

KimmySchmidtsFakeXmasSmile · 10/01/2017 20:30

Kath sorry love, had to pick up my little ones. You can get playmat and large floor cushions from various retailers.

Personally in my opinion I think a floor cushion from Big Bertha is a better investment long term They are on sale on Amazon

www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Big+bertha+beanbag

More expensive but bloody comfy are the JUNIOR FATBOY range. They are very good floor cushions as a long term investment.

If you prefer matching cushions they are available if you search but are known as squidgy base cushions or similar rather than plumfy. Easy to find as an add-on with most teepee companies.

NOTHS has various teepees and play tents.
www.notonthehighstreet.com/search?utf8=✓&term=Children%27s+teepee&filter%5Bcategory_id%5D=15000&search=find

Just clicked on one I liked the look of. A squidgy base cushion was £60

More teepees/dens/playhouse ideas here

Same caveats wrt research apply.

Manumission · 15/01/2017 15:21

I'm a bit late to the party but Lulu and Weasel have some beautiful handmade teepees that you can have personalised too. They have some for £79 if you look in the 'homeless' section Wink www.teepeesbyluluandweasel.co.uk/?ref=329

Just dusting off this thread.
The advice from MN was no personal Facebook, photos or personal attacks but I think if people would like to stick to the facts in terms of their experiences and recommendations then the thread will stay? BrewCake
