Manumission a box, a link to a website and a new business owner life?

loveandsmiles · 06/01/2017 16:24

You are thinking of JFTP ~ A Business In A Box. Please, please do not even think about joining. I am an ex~Business Fairy and the business model does not work at all.

You pay £495 to join and £25 per month thereafter. This is to sell JFTP products which you then receive commission on. However when I joined the commission structure was 25-35% ~ this later changed to 20% less VAT ~ a huge difference! The p&p costs outweigh the commission too. The management and customer service is beyond awful.

I loved the products which is why I joined but A Business In A Box is not viable.

Witchend · 06/01/2017 16:24

Thing is if you are a Business fairy you are too busy sprinkling fairy dust to worry that you have to sell 5000 teepees just to get your initial £500 back.
Your mind is fixed on bigger things.

PotteringAlong · 06/01/2017 16:24

£495?!?! I want my children to live in it without me needing to be there for that!

leccybill · 06/01/2017 16:24

£495?

Effing hell.

Oh sorry allother, x post.

Have you seen any figures that give any idea of how much you can make on each teepee? I think you get commission of 20%, but teepees are quite big. Would I be responsible for posting the teepee?

I'm worried that I'd have to sell about 20 teepees before I broke even, and then arleast teepee a month.

I'm assuming that there is huge demand for £165 teepees??

Eh oop. Panic over. Sanity has been restored;

QuizteamBleakley · 06/01/2017 16:28

Manumission I had a look online before Christmas and rather liked the look of this from Just For Tiny People but decided to read some reviews before parting with the best part of £300. Thank goodness I did - I found this this and this so decided to take my business elsewhere. In the end I got this and it's bloody brilliant.

HelsBels5000 · 06/01/2017 16:29

Is this a TAAT? bit slow today.........

Sadik · 06/01/2017 16:30

Grin Grin Grin

I was about to tell you that friend makes all types of canvas shelters and works together with another friend who produces tipi poles. But I think that might be a bit overscaled for what you're thinking of!

alltheothernamesareinuse · 06/01/2017 16:30

Just watched that video. Evi bastard company.

QuizteamBleakley · 06/01/2017 16:31

After spending months trying to decide on a handmade teepee for our daughter for Christmas my husband went out and bought this from smyths. www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/pre-school-electronic-learning/c-820/b-toys/p-12708/b-magical-teepee/

I will admit I was gutted at first as I had my eye on a beautiful one but he completely proved me wrong. Not only is it £200 cheaper than what I was going to buy it has sensory lights inside. It's beautiful irl. She absolutely loves it. Bargain for £40.

QuizteamBleakley · 06/01/2017 16:39

Indeed Manumission - that's some of the longest reviews, EVER! Here you go - cost $7 KERRCHING!

Anybody interested in Teepees, Cushions,PomPom Wands from a very poor ex~FairyGrinGrinGrin

SittingAround1 · 06/01/2017 16:44

So if I pay £500 I can be a business entrepreneur and make loads of money?
Would I have to sign up other people to sell as well? Could I get comission for this-like those MLM companies from America?
It sounds amazing. Grin

loveandsmiles · 06/01/2017 16:47

sitting you don't have to recruit anyone ~ you get to recruit all your amazing earnings to yourselfGrinGrinGrin

TheMysteriousJackelope · 06/01/2017 16:48

Somebody should write a blog for Huffington Post about the cultural appropriation of the teepee by this company. It would go down well there as there were several pages about people wearing feather headdresses to Coachella, featuring much harrumphing, last year.

Just to put the tin hat on it all.

loveandsmiles · 06/01/2017 16:48

Oops ~ get to KEEP all your earnings!
