It's the reasonable and pleasant tone of voice. Makes me sounds like even more of a haranguing nag than I already am.

DH is making this a Big Deal.

I'm considering giving him an ultimatum. Alexa or me.

I had no idea who (what) Alexa was until I read this thread.

Fortunately she won't be any use to me - I don't pay for Spotify, don't have Prime, don't have Hive or any other hi tech automation at home and I don't order my groceries on line. I've also refused the smart meter.

Guess big brother will have to find another way to spy on me!

So i just bought mine. For some reason she wont tell me whats on my google calender. I need to try the shopping list. And how do i order from amazon on the echo?

It isn't compatible with Google. No Amazon stuff is. DH moans like anything about not being able to use his Google Play account on his Amazon Fire. Google and Amazon won't work together.

Alexa does integrate with Google Calendar. Just link your account in settings->Calender within the Alexa app.
