So that I get it all to myself to scoff in the kitchen whilst carving the chicken? Crispy, juicy, amazing stuff. Not sure the kids even realise the chicken comes with a skin.......

Chicken skin... as nice as mini-cheddars nearly. Mmm

it's all my children's favourite part of the chicken - my mother tried to throw it away when we were at hers because she didn't believe me, and they looked at her as if she'd just murdered a kitten so yapbu IMO - seems a bit mean!

I suppose at least they don't know they're missing anything...

Bubblefairy she has these microwaveable cooking bags. I'm not sure where she gets them from. Then in it goes. I have to say, the flesh ends up being beautifully moist, I guess because it steams in the bag. But it's devoid of flavour, and of course there's no skin (sad face).

Kate the very same, and yes it's fatty and edible.

What's going on here? Are people who dislike chicken skin just not bothering to respond? I discard it. (I was going to say I think it's foul,

How does one get the bottom of the chicken skin crisped up then? It's only the top that's crispy when I do it. Do you all have rotisseries?

YANBU, I made the mistake of letting DD try the skin once and now she always demands her share.

My mind can't compute that there are entire households that dislike chicken skin. I'm trying, ...... But nope, can't do it.

Animal skin is on my "inedible" body bits list.

It's tastier than the actual chicken and I've considered roasting a chicken just for the skin too

I will be hiding this for as long as possible

I love the skin, but go even crazier for the wonderful caramelised bubbly and stocky juices on the bottom of the chicken's roasting dish. They are always mopped up by my finger. Just delicious! That's why cooking a whole chicken any other way than roasting is sacrilege as you don't get the caramelisation.

I'm the only one in my house that eats it which makes me very happy. I love crackling too which I scoff in the kitchen whilst DH shouts from the other room that he can hear me crunching

I can't get over that you can cook a chicken in a microwave. Just seems so wrong!!

Whenever I'm at my mums I sneak into the kitchen as the chicken is coming out of the oven and kindly offer to remove the skin and eat every last bit so that it will cool quicker. I am so selfless

I find it hard to eat KFC because of the chicken skin. The coating is nice but the back of the skin is grey, greasy and flabby, pinpricked with hair follicles.
I peel my KFC and eat only the meat inside.
I wish KFC took the skin off before coating the chicken- that would be perfect,.
