To severely dislike Robbie Williams?

OH has insisted on watching BBC in the run up to midnight.

I cannot stand Robbie Williams. I think he puts on a horrendously arrogant front, to the point of coming across as disingenuous. Deep down I think he's quite insecure.

There is just something about him that grates on me no end! I don't dislike his music, just find him irritating and fake.

He never could perform, well dance about maybe, but vocally he's not all that. I have never seen an artist point the mic at the audience as much as Robbie Williams does, usually the tricky/high/long/slightly challenging notes. It's embarrassing.

He's a swaggering prick. We're watching Jools, have watched the Rocks thing for the last couple of years but won't watch that knob. Was so happy he didn't rejoin Take That again next year as everyone thought he would. I didn't see the Progress tour because he was on it. I find him cringeworthy now, and the image he's got going on at the moment just looks ridiculous.

Was hoping they wouldn't play Feel. My mum loved Robbie and we had this song at her cremation in October.

YABU - hugely so. I too love him and have tickets to see him in June. Although secretly, I may be more excited about seeing Erasure! 😉

I'm not sure if he overcompensates and comes across as being high as a kite, or whether he is actually high as a kite. Happy new year all!

Yeah I lump him in the same category as James Corden, who also pisses me off for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. I bet they both smell of smug.

To be fair, he has something to brag about. He's been very successful. He knows, and has said, that he isn't the greatest singer in the world, but he can perform along with it and that package has brought him success.

For a man who has been so troubled to have such success despite it, is quite amazing and I think it's a real credit to him that he has overcome his difficulties and kept going.
