To say terrestrial tv has been rubbish this Xmas and new year

I've just looked at the terrestrial tv listings for New Year's Eve and day and they are pretty rubbish imo. Lots of old films and repeats. And although I haven't seen much tv over Xmas as visiting I haven't seen much in the tv magazine that I've missed. We have Netflix and stuff but I feel annoyed that BBC can't be bothered to make any decent programmes.

Witness for the prosecution was great - but v bleak! If you enjoyed Rillington Place, you'll enjoy it ... Xmas Shock rest looks like awful crap. We've been watching a box set of dvds. Terrestrial tv is dead ..

Yanbu however TV on new ears Eve has always been shit in my opinion. Wheeling jools Holland out every year for that yawn fest.
I will find something to binge on Netflix on Nye.

I have just watched Jo Brand with a programme about rescue kittens which was ok. Not Christmassy though!

Oh yes that IS one I want to watch. I watched and enjoyed 'And Then There Were None' last year. EE was a pile of tripe too.

Really regret paying my TV licence as all the stuff has been on Netflix, amazon prime or now tv. Which are all cheaper than the tv licence!!!

Its been pathetic. usually I get the Xmas Radio Times and am highlighting like crazy for what I am going to watch or record.

There was almost nothing this year.
