Like those where the OP writes hardly anything and expects others to entertain them.

Now you go.

OP posts:
WilburIsSomePig · 30/12/2016 09:58

The ones where a poster has a rant about their arsehole of a partner and someone immediately suggests that the partner has mental health problems and the OP should be supporting them.

Bitofacow · 30/12/2016 10:00

Thursday - I think we would get next Thursday off. Two days, you need a couple of days for a Royal Funeral right!!

OK it's just an internet rumour and probably bollocks but the following Monday?

Vapours · 30/12/2016 10:02

Threads where people speak for posters with autism/ disabilities as if they can't speak for themselves. I get it that people think they're helping/defending but actually it's insulting.

Boundaries · 30/12/2016 10:14

The competitive misery threads put me in mind of this genius sketch:

BitOutOfPractice · 30/12/2016 10:18

People who, when describing an incident, describe themselves as "myself".

E.g. My mother, myself and the dc were walking along the street...

Do they think it makes them sound more "official"?

LumelaMme · 30/12/2016 11:04

Threads where a total ignoramus is busy telling people who do really know about something that they're wrong.

neverreturnstothreads · 30/12/2016 11:06

Posters who never return to threads Grin

bowchikkawowwow · 30/12/2016 11:18

Op asks for advice
Gets lots of responses with good advice
Op comes up with every excuse to avoid all advice given.

CaraAspen · 30/12/2016 11:27

Have not been here long but these examples resonate. The ones I most dislike are the ones where the initially desperate poster who is given thoughtful advice just disappears.

CaraAspen · 30/12/2016 11:27

Most of these people are time wasters.

MsHooliesCardigan · 30/12/2016 12:02

Thecolonel Totally agree about the race to the bottom threads. It's absolutely guaranteed that any OP moaning about being skint will be met with a flood of posts from posters claiming to manage perfectly well on £7 a week for a family of ten.
And nobody is allowed to be pissed off about anything at all because they're not living in Syria.

WorraLiberty · 30/12/2016 12:25

thecolonelbumminganugget that was by far, one of the funniest posts I've read in ages Grin Grin

BillSykesDog · 30/12/2016 12:36

And the legendary chicken that can feed a family of 8 for 3 weeks.

MrsJayy · 30/12/2016 13:12

The queen is dead is pissing me right off today I am sure the Queen is not dead and if she is then we will be told on the news not on fecking twitter

Christinayangstwistedsista · 30/12/2016 13:17

What the hell is a poo crumb?

Bejazzled · 30/12/2016 13:37

MrsJay - I agree with you but it's that old saying 'there's no arguing with stupid' 🙄

MrsJayy · 30/12/2016 13:41

pages and pages of it Bejazzled

CaraAspen · 30/12/2016 13:48

The stupid it burns.

Bitofacow · 30/12/2016 15:49

Mrsjayy you're missing the point. What day will we get off for the funeral?

redshoeblueshoe · 30/12/2016 16:07

Bitofa -probably the actual day of the funeral Xmas Grin

Bitofacow · 30/12/2016 16:16

Lweji · 30/12/2016 16:23

You never know. Maybe there is an official royal funeral day, such as for the Queen's birthday.

redshoeblueshoe · 30/12/2016 16:26

Thursday sounds good to me.
