Like those where the OP writes hardly anything and expects others to entertain them.

Now you go.

Ones that start 'Hi Ladies'.

blinkineckmum · 28/12/2016 10:14

When privileged people complain about material things. Like not having enough attention on their birthday, or that someone else got more presents.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 28/12/2016 10:14

People whining about the DM lifting threads - always makes me laugh. Always includes:

Perhaps MN can stop them (yeah because it's not their mutual benefit)

Perhaps we can put a disclaimer (good luck with that)

It's a safe space (no it's a public fucking site available to anyone without even logging in)

It puts people in danger (no it doesn't, get a grip)

All this while generating more traffic Grin

Champagneformyrealfriends · 28/12/2016 10:14

Anything about breast vs bottle. Always ends badly.

The hysterical "child-free wedding/party/pub/cafe" posts. Not everybody likes children-get over it.

user1471517900 · 28/12/2016 10:14

Reverse threads are mine. They're always so badly written. "Then for no reason I punched the 5 year old child. WIBU?"

OP posts:
Champagneformyrealfriends · 28/12/2016 10:15

Sparkling I once saw a "Hello
mothers" Grin

SittingDrinkingTea · 28/12/2016 10:16

Could I be pregnant ones. If you're a woman with a womb who is post puberty and pre menopause and have had sex recently then yes, you could . Whether you are is however a question that can't be answered on an online forum.

Tootsiepops · 28/12/2016 10:16

The ones written about the plots of soaps or dramas as if they are real life events and we're all supposed to know what the pissing hell is going on

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 28/12/2016 10:17

Ooh and whenever anyone asks for advice about bottle feeding, a poster always comes on to talk about breastfeeding in a way designed to make the mother feel as bad as possible

Bluebolt · 28/12/2016 10:17

When it is not going posters way, the obvious drip feed. MIL smoking or having dogs will always turn posters round.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 28/12/2016 10:18

Anything where the op talks about how their dc don't eat chocolate/watch tv etc. "DD has never even seen an iPad!" Hmm

lilyb84 · 28/12/2016 10:18

The replies that pick one tiny detail from the op and question it even though it's not relevant to the op.

Op: I was shopping today with my 2 year old and someone was really rude to me when I handed cash to the cashier because my dc was being noisy.

Poster: You paid cash? Yeah right, nobody does that any more.

(bad example but hopefully you know the ones I mean...)

It's judgement for judgement's sake and at its worst, barely disguised troll hunting. And it pisses me off.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 28/12/2016 10:18

God yes - the childfree weddings

Always full of 'they will learn when they have their own kids'

And 'they can't expect you to attend' - well no, Tbf they probably don't give a toss Grin

LunaLoveg00d · 28/12/2016 10:19

The Ines which the thread title tells you nothing, so "aibu to think this?" Or "Aibu to..."

headinhands · 28/12/2016 10:19

I get confused by the ones that are about who's popular on MN and so on. I'm quite active on MN but don't tend to remember many of the names beyond those I get into a to and fro with.

user1471517900 · 28/12/2016 10:19

*SparklingBrook - those usernames are annoying aren't they. They tend to be awful at formatting too.

OP posts:
queenc81 · 28/12/2016 10:20

The threads in AIBU, when they are being unreasonable, they get told they are being unreasonable by 50283719 people, but they reply with their meek excuses as to why they are now. Why fucking ask then?!

Also am I pregnant, is this test positive, read the fucking instructions, it's not hard!!

And finally the threads that start like this in baby names.. I've fallen in love with a name, I think it's unique. Came on to ask what you all think, the name is herpes.

Ahh I feel better now Grin

Charley50 · 28/12/2016 10:20

The ones started by posters with those 'user12345678' type names.

^^ this. I hate this because I just think they are all the same person.

Stupid questions like when should I check in to the airport, or do you have a chicken recipe.

I kind of hate the 'going to London with 4 different age kids tomorrow. How do we get around and what should we do and where shall we eat?' Ones. You know your own family; use the internet and make your own fucking plans.

Nanny0gg · 28/12/2016 10:21

The ones with a really awful (long) problem. Cue loads of questions to clarify and help.

Then one sentence answers every 100 posts.(if you're lucky)

PollyPerky · 28/12/2016 10:22

The ones where the answer is on the web- just look- and quicker than posting here.

And the ones that are about such trivial stuff that doesn't warrant asking anyone, where someone is offloading about bugger-all.

Charley50 · 28/12/2016 10:22

I also hate the serious medical emergency ones, e.g. I have sawn my leg off; should I call 999?

queenc81 · 28/12/2016 10:22

*why they are not! Blush

pictish · 28/12/2016 10:23

"My mum is much better than my mil who I can't be bothered with. I want my mum to be more prominent in our child's life from the get go because I prefer her. AIBU?"

"Yadnbu. You are a new mother so more precious than a unicorn foal. Your wish is the world's command. Get your dh to tell his mum she's not welcome, it's hardly your responsibility."

IlsaLund · 28/12/2016 10:23

The badly phrased questions.

E.g. Has anyone ever been to Leeds
Makes me want to reply - no, it's still an unexplored unquantified mythical place waiting for someone to go there.

Or
Am I the only one who ... followed by some banality like changes my sheets weekly or allows my children to go barefoot in the garden

Of course you're not.
