AIBU to ask you to give me your most outrageously posh names for my....... bunnies. We have rescued 2 and one is already called Dave. Would like to give the other something splendid to make up for all the years he has been nameless...! If you give me many spiffing names I may even re name Dave. Thanks!

I immediately thought Tarquin.

But Hugo, Fitzwilliam and Cecil aren't bad either.

Augustus would be good for a bunny; bunny Gus?

Crispin
Ptolemy
Peregrine
Benedict
Montgomery
Urquart
Aloysius
Mungo

However... in my experience, genuinely posh people are more likely to name their sons classic names such as James, Henry and William.

For a girl viola and for a boy Hugh.

I named my Dads new pet pig Trevor. It's a fab name and totally suits him.

aforestgrewandgrew · 27/12/2016 21:32

Oh I missed your second post MapMyMum.

Hazel, of course! Was on the tip of my tongue but couldn't quite get it!

I think Dave alongside Tarquin/Ptolomy/Horatio is very funny. If you're going for funny keep one as Dave IMO.

Whenisright · 27/12/2016 21:36

I'm thinking the name may have to be a full name with a double barrelled surname! Thanks for all the suggestions. Will be back later to check again, got to run my mum home now. Thanks everyone!
