Someone shit the bed

We had a couple of guests sleeping in the spare bed on Friday night. I've just been in to change the covers ahead of more guests next week. When I took off the duvet I discovered a giant poo patch in the middle of one side ( human bum level.) Skiddy with lumps and some yellow stains around. One of the guests does have a digestive disorder so could be forgiven. Tiny chance it could have been the cat but doubtful as it was inside the covers. Anyway aibu to think that if you have a digestive disorder and this sort of thing happens you bloody well wear pants in someone else's bed. Also you strip the bed, you don't just leave a nasty surprise for the host. I'm just glad I decided to strip the bed between guests!

If I stained anyone's sheet with a bodily fluid of any kind, I would make every effort to clean it off myself: wipes or if worse strip sheet off bed, sleep on a towel and wash stained area by hand and hang on radiator or if too embarrassed just say spilt coffee all over sheet (if logistics made that believable) and had immediately soaked the sheet. Present it in plastic bag to put straight in the washer.

Morning. I said 'guests' to be less identifying. I didn't post for 'lols' I posted because I needed to moan about it anonymously. My husband knows but I wouldn't want to bitch to anyone in real life. These are relatives on my husband's side but I like to think that if I had done this at an equivalent family member's house I would simply say I was really sorry I have an upset stomach. I'd strip the bed and buy new sheets. Also I'm not a troll.

Well, uhm ... pants wouldn't have helped much anyway, if it is of some consolation.

Really confused as there was a post this morning on Mumsnet saying that someone had just returned from spending a night at a relatives and there was poo in the bed so they slept on the floor. Could you be related?
