(on my fiftieth birthday when there were no birthday wishes) 'it's not our fault you are old and wrinkly'

Iloveswears · 15/12/2016 17:52

I hate you.

Iloveswears · 15/12/2016 17:52

Luckily I took it with a pinch of salt, she doesn't mean it.

LoftDweller · 15/12/2016 17:53

Ds farted in my face last night if that counts?

Nineloves1 · 15/12/2016 17:54

I hate you

thenewaveragebear1983 · 15/12/2016 17:54

Ds- You're my best friend mummy
Bear- oh thanks ds, that's a really kind thing to say
Ds- yes, but you're not my best best friend. Daddy is my best best friend, and that's much bigger.

Dh still loves retelling this story even 3 years later.

LottieDoubtie · 15/12/2016 17:56

Does head butting count? he's two and it was probably an accident

Either that or 'not mummy, no like mummy, want daddy'

abbsisspartacus · 15/12/2016 17:57

"Everyone else's parents do that stuff why are you always waaahing about it" said by 20yo DS when I tried to point out as a single parent working FT with all house/money/Garden etc stuff on me I'd like more help.

SallyGinnamon · 15/12/2016 18:08

When he went through is hating me phase he stuck a note to my back saying 'I have a big nose'. Fast forward 5 years and his nose has grown just like mine! Fortunately for him
I've never reminded him nor pointed it out!

Arlowthegooddinosaur · 15/12/2016 18:13

Ds (2) mummy you have the biggest bum ever. Why is it so big??? It's bigger than an elephant.

Thanks ds

Janey50 · 15/12/2016 18:13

'Those earrings make you look like a tart'. This was from my then 11 year old DD,22 years ago.She swears she doesn't remember saying this.Hmm

GoofyTheHero · 15/12/2016 18:17

Horrid mummy

She's only 3 though so plenty of time to improve on that!

GoneGirl1234 · 15/12/2016 18:17

I don't have DC but when I was 4 my lovely lovely aunty asked me what I'd like for my birthday. I replied "I want some lines for my forehead, just like yours!" Blush
(I was obsessed with furrow lines when people raised their eyebrows, apparently I was always asking people to "put their lines up")

MyBonnieLiesOverTheOcean · 15/12/2016 18:19

If you die I can get another mummy, can't I?

onlyslightlyinterested · 15/12/2016 18:20

'mummy, you make the best jam cake in the world! If you told Daddy how to make it, we wouldn't need you.... '

honeylulu · 15/12/2016 18:21

"You don't love us - all you care about is work". Ouch.
And when he was little: "I wish you looked nice, like Henry's mummy".

LittleBooInABox · 15/12/2016 18:23

I don't love you.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 15/12/2016 18:24

DS1 when he was 5 - "I can't wait for you to die so that I can do what I want." Shock

GogoGobo · 15/12/2016 18:24

Me to DS (in jest as I did something fun for him) "who's the best mum in the world eh?"
DS "Jackie"
My name is not Jackie 😩😩

NoahVale · 15/12/2016 18:26

That i looked like Mrs Trunchball.
a fact that my own DM found highly amusing Sad Blush

alltouchedout · 15/12/2016 18:26

I hope you die and the baby dies (ds1 when I was pregnant with ds3).
You should kill yourself (ds1 last weekend).
Ds1 has some issues.

BooeyBubbleHead · 15/12/2016 18:27

4 year old DD: you make me sad! I'm going to throw you in the dustbin and find a nicer Mummy!

Charming Hmm

Wikkitikki · 15/12/2016 18:28

I'm chuckling out loud reading this thread!

Youngest DD : You're not like a Mummy, you're like a witch.
