to think these crisps are the best

I remember Sensations being released. All of the flavours/types were on sale in equal measure and I fell in love with the popadom kind.

Then of course some flavours proved more popular (I'm looking at you Thai Sweet Chilli) and some disappeared off shelves.

For the first time in about a decade I've found my faves in Tesco. Get inside me Lime & Coriander Chutney poppadoms!

What usual crisps do like/remember?

Seabrooks lattice salt and red wine vinegar flavour.

AlpacaPicnic · 10/12/2016 21:35

Bugles! In sour cream and black pepper... it's a shame they only come in a "single serve" bag because I inhale the lot as soon as they're open

HopperBusTicket · 10/12/2016 21:35

Seabrooks Canadian Ham. Oh my god. Can you even get them any more.

TheSoapyFrog · 10/12/2016 21:39

Roysters T-bone steak flavour crisps.
I need these right now.
Also quite partial to a bag of good quality pork scratchings.

Misspilly88 · 10/12/2016 21:39

DinosaursRoar · 10/12/2016 21:41

I'd agree - they last all of 5 minutes in our house.

7SunshineSeven7 · 10/12/2016 21:43

Rib and Saucy (the purple pack) nik naks are the best.

Stiddleficks · 10/12/2016 21:45

Aldo's specially selected Duck and Boozy Berry crisps are by far the best ever.

Stiddleficks · 10/12/2016 21:45

*aldi's ffs

BreconBeBuggered · 10/12/2016 21:47

The M&S Spring Onion ones mentioned by a pp were exceptional, but I'd like to go further back in time to reclaim fried onion crisps. Possibly by Smiths, can't remember, but sometime mid-to-late 70s.

MarciaBlaine · 10/12/2016 21:47

Cheese and Onion Square Crisps. In a sandwich. The best snack ever. They don't sell them near me now,

marciagetscreamed · 10/12/2016 21:50

I am now ravenous.

SaltyBitch · 10/12/2016 21:54

The lowest brow choice I can think of - but ultimately still fecking delicious:

Pickled Onion Space Raiders

PickAChew · 10/12/2016 21:57

Poppadoms are not crisps Hmm

Kettlechips salt and balsamic vinegar for me. Taste like proper seasidey chips!

ragdoll700 · 10/12/2016 21:57

Tayto are the best can anyone guess where im from :)

SaltyBitch · 10/12/2016 21:59

Poppadoms are not crisps

They're not really poppadoms. They're a just a generic shaped corn snack.

Real poppadoms are not crisps, I agree. These do fall under the 'crisp' bracket - like Quavers, Wotsits and other non-crisp shapes though.
