AIBU to think this guy is truly a complete and utter narcissitic twit?

He has the nerve to steal stories from mumsnet and then describes us all as "foul mouthed, illiterate harridans"

Grrr.

I've never actually seen him so just googled him. OMG REALLY? I've had some odd crushes in my time Vince Cable anyone but no, no no no.

He clearly wants you though ladies

SemiNormal · 17/11/2016 12:11

I don't mind the other bits but this is one of the most literate sites on the internet. - only because the illiterate ones have been frightened off by the literate harridans.... Grin

squoosh · 17/11/2016 12:11

A Boudica in a pair of sensible Hotter shoes shovetheholly.

CaesiumTime · 17/11/2016 12:11

Yes, I agree, shove

Reclaim Harridian. I rather like it as well.

ChangingNamesAgain · 17/11/2016 12:11

If mumsnet becomes cuntsnet then there must be joining criteria. Either you have one, like them or know what to do with them.

Judging by his bitterness I'm guessing mw doesn't meet that criteria.

Ladymoth · 17/11/2016 12:12

Sometimes being semi repulsed is part of the attraction.

I do know what you mean in a weird way. But I can't fancy men who have that cheeky chancer wide boy look about them.

Wookiecookies · 17/11/2016 12:13

I'd say he meets the 'is one' criteria changing Grin

ChangingNamesAgain · 17/11/2016 12:16

Nah, cunts are useful, mw is a waste if space

And anyone thinking retarded is acceptable is a vile excuse for a human being, even a cunt of one.

Wookiecookies · 17/11/2016 12:17

Yeah, thats bad changing I hadnt heard about the "retarded" comments. Not good if true, and definetly not funny.

Butteredpars1ps · 17/11/2016 12:19

I'm happy to be a foul mouthed harridan. People with cunts swear. Just like those with dicks.

Oh the irony of a Jeremy Kyle wannabe calling anyone illiterate. Hmm

Twogoats · 17/11/2016 12:19

I think we should get him in for a web chat...

shovetheholly · 17/11/2016 12:20

squoosh - absolutely. While I feel Boudica would be able to break out fearsome stilettos to celebrate a victory, said victory would definitely be achieved in a pair of suitably comfortable stompy shoes. Maybe Hotter boots accessorised with spurs (those fire-breathing, bloody-of-mine-enemies-drinking horses can get a bit excited in battle) plus a dagger holder, doubling as discrete tampon store for times of peace.

NotTheFordType · 17/11/2016 12:23

I seriously cannot believe that people use that word so liberally in day to day life

There's definitely a North-South divide when it comes to the C-word.

When I go back to Yorkshire I have to remind myself not to keep using it in every conversation.

When I moved from Yorkshire to Sussex I was really shocked how liberally it was used but nowadays I'm used to it.

ItShouldHaveBeenJingleJess · 17/11/2016 12:23

twogoats Oh yes, that would be amazing! Come on, Matty - rise to the challenge (if you're able)!

SurlyValentine · 17/11/2016 12:26

Like this, only on a tshirt Mummyshortlegz ? Grin

Matthew Wright "foul mouthed, illiterate harridans"
Wookiecookies · 17/11/2016 12:27

MNHQ, if you are reading,

PLEASE get matthew on for a web chat and also if you wouldnt mind renaming the site to cuntsnet that would be great.

I'm pretty sure that "Matthew Wright" is an anagram of "simply ghastly little man".

Then again, I'm illiterate, so how would I know?

crashdoll · 17/11/2016 12:29

If he was a poster on here, we'd all be calling him a goady fucker. He does look like a troll too. It's all very sad really, he must be gutted at being so ugly and boring. He needs our love and support. Ok, Matthew, Hun? Xxx

hellsbellsmelons · 17/11/2016 12:29

I don't use that word liberally at all and I don't know people of my generation who do either.
But I'm so much more used to it now I've on MN a few years.
I'm way down south.

InfiniteSheldon · 17/11/2016 12:32

he was so wonderful on I'm a celeb a couple of years ago ......

TooTooCarMoon · 17/11/2016 12:34

fair Grin Well, 'twat' is definitely in there!

PerspicaciaTick · 17/11/2016 12:35

I would love a webchat in which MW is forced to explain why he thinks it is OK to abuse the people whose stories and ideas he so shamelessly exploits.

derxa · 17/11/2016 12:36

www.anorak.co.uk/322413/tv/the-wright-stuff-mongs-out.html/
Wasn't it Ricky Gervais?

Anyway I'm a regular viewer of TWS. There is no debate. There is only Matthew's viewpoint backed up by the members of his tired old panel.

Willow2016 · 17/11/2016 12:39

Caesium

Cant remember the exact words he used but he was really offensive about her having 'learning difficulties' (not my opinion but in that kind of context) but in a very nasty/what do you expect with someone with 'that' kind of way. While smiling like he was the cleverest person alive for thinking of it. Bloody creep.

Only time I ever sent a comment in about something on tv!
