AIBU to think this guy is truly a complete and utter narcissitic twit?

He has the nerve to steal stories from mumsnet and then describes us all as "foul mouthed, illiterate harridans"

Grrr.

Dear me, and from a man whose show is the tv version of Chat magazine!
He aims it at the lowest common denominator. Pot, kettle, black.

"misinterpret"? There isn't enough content to be misinterpreted.

StrangeLookingParasite · 04/12/2016 18:35

And no, I don't read every thread as they appear, but nor am I under the delusion that my comment is so important it's necessary to bump zombie threads to make an irrelevant observation.

nick247 · 04/12/2016 19:23

StrangeLookingParasite- I wasn't aware that I was"bumping a zombie thread ' I was merely adding my comment to a thread that I had just seen. You obviously felt the need to read comments on a "zombie" thread, says lots about yourself too. I never thought my comment was that important I was just adding my view. It Is probably insignificant comments like yours that make people like Matthew Wright have the opinions that he does about mumsnet.

I don't think you really grasp what bumping a thread means, or what a zombie thread is. Never mind.

nick247 · 04/12/2016 21:41

OMG StrangeLookingParasite, are you still looking at zombie threads?I am off as I have a life with better things to do than argue with you. I do know what those terms mean, I wonder if you know what misinterpret means, but frankly I am not really interested in conversing with you anymore.

This thread was only start d on November 17th - less than three weeks ago - and had been quiet for only 15 days when nick posted on it - so how can it be a zombie thread, StrangeLookingParasite?

To me, a zombie thread is one that has been dormant for years, not one that is less than three weeks old!

BeckerLleytonNever · 05/12/2016 16:20

Nick I don't know if youre referring to my posts typos, I have swollen .fingers and I type very fast (trying to type slower to have every single letter in post!!)

Im very well educated and can spell and write proplerly, my keyboard keays small keys and my fingers are too swollen for them.plus my pcs slow and old (like me!) and sometimed the letters disappear.or double.

But thanks for that.

nick247 · 05/12/2016 17:03

BeckerLeytonNever- I did not mean to offend you or anyone I was just stating that some posts have lots of errors which could lead somebody (not me, but perhaps Matthew Wright etc.)to think that people on here are illiterate.

Pretty easily.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 06/12/2016 19:04

Sorry - zombie threads are ones that have been inactive for months or years, not days. A few inactive days makes a thread poorly and bedridden, it hasn't died, let alone reanimated.

People zombies, however, can become zombies only hours or days after death.

derxa · 06/12/2016 20:24

Well MW said it again today so this thread is very current and relevant. Grin

TaraCarter · 06/12/2016 20:34

I expect MW says it and variants quite a lot- and you know why? Because MNers always react! This is not the first thread of users objecting to being called 'illiterate'.

Don't feed the troll.
