AIBU to think this guy is truly a complete and utter narcissitic twit?

He has the nerve to steal stories from mumsnet and then describes us all as "foul mouthed, illiterate harridans"

Grrr.

Fucking hell, really?

SantaPleaseBringMeEwanMcGregor · 03/12/2016 22:55

Excuse me? I am a HARPY, not a harridan, dammit!

Lynnm63 · 04/12/2016 00:12

Like most pp's foul mouthed harridan doesn't bother me at all. I strongly object to illiterate. My degree wasn't media studies like dear old MW.

BlackeyedSusan · 04/12/2016 09:32

I am not iliterate illitterrat ilitarite

oh fucking bloody hell, bastarding spelling.

CaraAspen · 04/12/2016 10:52

OP:
He is awful though thankfully I have only ever seen his "programme" in passing. What I have noticed, however, is that he puts on what he must imagine is an adorable, lopsided grin thing. It is not adorable; it makes him look fake and stupid.

CaraAspen · 04/12/2016 10:53

One can actually get a degree in Media Studies!?

MistresssIggi · 04/12/2016 11:52

Ah now now Cara, there have been degrees in media studies for 30 years now. We can't all do PPE. Grin

reup · 04/12/2016 13:07

He didn't do media studies at Exeter. I was at university with him. He was a friend of one of my flat mates.

Twogoats · 04/12/2016 13:24

What did he do then? Reup

reup · 04/12/2016 13:32

He did drama and English joint honours.

reup · 04/12/2016 13:36

He used to look and dress very hippyish - big mop of hair. He also indulged in lots of cake/brownie baking with my flatmate. With extra added ingredients that can't be bought in shops.

Twogoats · 04/12/2016 13:45

Drama? Really? I'm surprised by that. His diction is quite bad

reup · 04/12/2016 13:49

It was 80s drama at University they seemed to do endless weird stuff (and to his credit he was quite rude about it and the pretentious drama students) - like go overnight to Dartmoor to find themselves or walk everywhere with a stick for a few days. They were in a separate building and used to prize themselves on being different. I'm not sure there were any actual plays or lines learned!

KookSpook · 04/12/2016 13:49

I bet he sockpuppets posts on here.

KookSpook · 04/12/2016 13:51

Ohhhh 'those' types of special brownies!

EBearhug · 04/12/2016 14:17

What's wrong with going overnight to Dartmoor?

msrisotto · 04/12/2016 14:23

I wonder if he's ok with being as racist as he is misogynist.

CaraAspen · 04/12/2016 15:06

He did Drama!? But that is the same league as Media Studies. Clearly, it wasn't at a Russell Group university, then...

BeckerLleytonNever · 04/12/2016 15:44

thjis iaguy who calls every whos at home d theyre either disabled, elderly, work from home, I, loo for work) lazy lardarses worthy of the Jeremy kyle show, yet lo at what time hiprogrs on!

what abot his studio audiences? he never sayd they don't work, and without a tv audience to phone wouldn't have a programme.

and then he asks people to phone in and if he doesn't like them disagreeing th him rude to them and cuts them off.

prick.

I much prefer Richard watsit (judys husba and ant stand him) or anne daimond when they present it.

and I wi janet ellis would fuck off, shes so bitchy about eberything.

ValaMalDoran · 04/12/2016 15:48

We are foul mouthed vipers but don't you dare question our literacy. Have you even read ANY thread on here? Anyone with bad literacy skills is soon educated...

derxa · 04/12/2016 15:51

I can't stand Janet Ellis either Becker. She's just aaaarrrrrgh

StrangeLookingParasite · 04/12/2016 16:09

I have to admit that the first time I came on here I was quite shocked by the bad language.Don't me wrong I am not a prude at all, but I do believe that there is a time and place for swearing but many posters on here seem to use use foul language unnecessarily.

You bumped a zombie thread just to say this? Thanks for that.

StrangelookingParasite- Sorry, what are you on about?
BeckerLeytonNever- perhaps Matthew Wright had only read your posts.

StrangeLookingParasite · 04/12/2016 17:33

I am 'on about' the fact that you bothered to bump a nearly month old thread to complain about other people swearing, something which is just a fact of life here. Hardly necessary.

nick247 · 04/12/2016 17:53

StrangeLookingParasite- I only saw the thread yesterday, I do not have time to read every single thread as they appear, do you? I wasn't aware that I was actually complaining about bad language I was just remarking that I was surprised by it's constant use. But you carry on and misinterpret posts while I get on with my life.
