To ask you what you call farts

They were trumps in our house but now that has been sullied due to Donald.

What can we call them?

Trump or Parps.

Accusatory- 'Did you just let rip?'

It must be a topic of conversation in our house every day!

I was getting worried that I'd imagined it.

Pumps. I don't like Trumps (of either variety) and I don't like farts either.

Fuzzies in our house! Can still picture the look of horror on mum's face of we ever said fart. My ballet friend used to say trump, and even that was too much for delicate mother!

A particularly squeaky one gets the enquiry "New shoes?"

Other than that, farts or guffs. When I was little it was blow offs.

Fart. I can't bear pump but don't mind most of the others.

Grew up calling them "pups" which is pretty common amongst caribbeans i think.

Now i just say fart.

Usually I call a fart a fart. With DD, who is 14 months, I say, "did you do a farty?"

At boarding school we called it Shooting bunnies to be said "oops just shot a bunny" as you made the sound.

We started using 'puff' for the toddler.It sounds much nicer.

DS says fart. DD says Trump.

Used to use trumps, but not said it or used it for years. Fart was a semi swear word in our house when I was growing up, whereas trump was ok.
Usually say farts or guffs now. My sister says "dropped one".
