I've never heard one person in real life use either of those and to be honest, I'm glad! They're the ugliest phrases ever!

Tear him a new one is particularly disgusting.

AIBU to ask you to share yours? Either things you don't hear in real life or things you hate but only encounter here?

My mum has been saying sanpro since I started periods 30 years ago so always sounded normal to me.

Yes like when someone's parent is racist or sexist a dozen posters come on to say 'oh it's just that generation' -
NO it is not....!! You are probably talking about someone in their 50s or 60s!
