I've snogged every member of Boyzone, including Ronan. I am incredibly proud of this...

DP is fond of telling everyone how much the Queen Mother loved his fart joke. He was escorting her around his barracks when one of the ceremonial horses which had pulled her carriage farted, the Queen Mother said "Oh, I'm terribly sorry!" to which DP replied "Oh, I thought it was the horse!"

He says she split her sides laughing... Hmm

12 years ago I shagged a member of Fall Out Boy. They were only mildly famous at the time.

9/10 would shag again.

iloveeverykindofcat · 23/10/2016 09:26

*edit - 13 years ago. God, I'm getting old.

WishIWasNormal · 23/10/2016 09:43

I once saw Anthony Head in the Sainsburys Local by Waterloo station.

I once saw Chantelle Houghton un the Sainsburys in Chafford Hundred.

Sainsbury's is where it's at! Grin

WishIWasNormal · 23/10/2016 09:45

My husband has had more luck. He was once on a transatlantic flight with Katie Price, and her pink Range Rover was once parked outside his work.

He's been in an airport lounge with Penelope Cruz.

GabsAlot · 23/10/2016 10:02

price rive past me once in brighton in that pink monstrosity

I collided with Ralph Fiennes as he was coming out the side entrance of a theatre. I had a bit of a crush on him at the time and got all flustered and blurted, "You're Ranulph Fiennes!" (cringe)

I once sat beside Johnny Vegas in the train station as he had heated discussion on his mobile with a woman for a good 20 minutes - he was in tears by the end of it and looked as though he'd been on a bender.

I met Sophie Elllis Bextor at a gig - my DP at the time was playing in headlining band and her now husband was playing in the support band. She was very sweet and unassuming, whereas for some reason I'd assumed that she would have a huge ego.

I had lunch with David Bellamy and debated on a panel with him at a conference when I was 18 after my school entered my essay into a competition run by National Geographic magazine. He was far taller than I had expected him to be and had enormous hands!

One of my friends was an air hostess and met Eminem and Jay Kay from Jamiroquai - she ended up sleeping with them both - she said Jay Kay was the better lover, whereas Eminem was fast and furious!

Catra · 23/10/2016 12:01

I should add that shortly after seeing Johnny Vegas at the train station I had a dream about sleeping with him - he was really lazy and just lay there, expecting me to do all the work so I walked out on him and went next door and shagged Ryan Giggs instead!!

Cahu58 · 23/10/2016 12:17

Served Les Dennis in the Body Shop nearly 30 years ago, shared a taxi with Jimmy Nail and Boy George served me in a clothes shop in Carnaby Street before he was famous

Cahu58 · 23/10/2016 12:19

Forgot that I had my photo taken back stage with the Clash about 1981.

operaha · 23/10/2016 13:30

The Dubliners came to my house, woke me up and sang songs in the living room when I was about ten. That was cool.

Clawdy · 23/10/2016 13:36

operaha that sounds amazing. Loved the Dubliners.

BowieFan · 23/10/2016 13:57

I once got stuck in a lift with Douglas Booth and Harry from McFly. They are both impossibly gorgeous and it was probably the best hour of my life.

Just remembered that Wilf and I met Anthony Head at Discover Dogs a few years ago. He was very impressed when Wilf taught him the sign language for Vampire!!! Grin

sleepychunky · 23/10/2016 17:09

Robbie Williams recorded my voicemail message for me back in 1999...

Sweetcheeks21 · 23/10/2016 17:28

Great thread! I've chatted about Guinness to Pierce Brosnan, went to the loo with Charlize Theron and tried to speak to Michael J Fox but I shook his hand, said ' I just want to say.....' and then was so starstruck I didn't say anything else and just went very red!

NeedANewTattoo · 23/10/2016 17:56

My sister aged 12 walked into Eric Cantona while looking for Eric Cantonal!
On the same morning my Dad (incredibly tough, strong man) shock Bobby Charltons hand and nearly cried!

Frenchfarmwench · 23/10/2016 18:03

Met loads of celebs in my old job....Orlando Bloom, Joanna Page, Jimmy Page, Russell Brand, Liam Gallagher to name a few. All nice people. Once I served Paul Daniels gave him his change and said sorry its not a lot....he gave me a look that could kill biy the lovely Debbie McGee giggled. It wasn't a glamorous job...I worked in a supermarket but in a town where they all seemed to congregate!

johnwinstonlennon · 23/10/2016 18:10

peter o'toole lived near my place in chelsea back in the 90s, I saw him walking down the streets more than once. he didn't look good. I saw hugh grant on old brompton rd -south kensington- probably in 1993. I thought he was the most beautiful thing ever and he was not huge yet. I wrote to my mum about seeing the "black haired guy from Maurice". Sting with wife inside a black cab in the Picadilly Circus roundabout, the window was down and they were waving very happily. Jean Paul Gautier in Soho, he was lovely until he realised one of my male gay friends was being an ass to him. so he understandably took off. grace jones in miami. barry gibb walking down washington ave in south beach, window shopping with a woman who looked like his wife. anthony hopkins more than once.

Lifeonthefarm · 23/10/2016 19:54

Pulled Kerry Katona car out after her driver got it stuck in snow, late at night, it was freezing,... She just got out the car after and walked off, no thank you etc. Disgusting person (I really can't be doing with people with no manners, it costs nothing after all)

Met Kelly Brooke at a party, I was helping out my big sister behind the scenes who was the events photogpraher. Kelly came out the back to look at some of the pictures, she was very kind to me and complimented my shoes. I was a teenager at the time and her kind comment I will always remember. Her chums, some from hollyoaks at the time, were vile however.

Jodie marsh, met her in a loo in a nightclub, she was just how I had imagined her to be, rough around the edges.

Phil as in Kirsty and Phil (celeb, lol) met him once he is very nice.

Calum best, in a beach club in Marbella, every bit as expected, this was ten years ago, tried to hit on me - tbh I was not the cream of the crop by far so just cemented his image if that era in terms of going for anything that moves

Chickoletta · 23/10/2016 20:08

I taught Ricky Ross from Deacon Blue's daughter.
Did some backing singing on a couple of tracks being produced by John Cornfield who produced Definitely Maybe, several albums by the Stone Roses etc.
A very good friend of mine had a prominent role in The Darling Buds of May.
Went to the pub with the current cast of Hamlet at the RSC after a performance in Stratford a few months ago.
My husband once vetted Zara Phillips' horse, Toytown, at Badminton whilst it was being held by Princess Anne.

BrianCoxWithBellsOn · 23/10/2016 20:48

NeedANew Shock oh I idolized Cantona when I was a teen! I still quite fancy him now and believe he was a misunderstood genius back in the 90's Grin
