The appeals court decided to allow this despite the fact that they may have been coached. They decided this was a decision for the jury to make.

Personally I think 50k buys a lot of evidence but I wasn't there and did not hear what the appeals court did.

Regardless, this evidence had nothing to do with her morality.

Boundaries, reference your previous experience, let me be more clear (difficult when typing quick responses to several people). I think we're all agreed that rape is when the person (man or woman - yes women can rape) imposing themselves on another has not gained consent. Silence (fear) doesn't equal consent. However screaming 'f me harder' as two witnesses stated in court can reasonable be assumed to be consent. The fact that previous partners gave statements to court that this was exactly the language and behavior displayed in previous encounters obviously persuaded the jury that it was not possible to prove 'beyond reasonable doubt' and therefore he as innocent. (We are innocent unless proved otherwise by the way).
