Binge watching sex and the city thanks to a horrendous cold.

The jukes and mimi viewing between Miranda and Robert is hilariously cringeworthy but also v v funny...

Oh god the big reunion was sooooo cringey. All these poor saps who had been rung out by the music industry, made bugger all money, been worked to the point of a nervous breakdown and then unceremoniously dumped by their record labels. Then, when given the chance to go through all that hell again, they all agreed!

The worst was a band who were dubbed as the next spice girls but dropped after two singles. One of them had gone on to do quite well for herself - I think she was in hollyoaks - but had also married someone in westlife, so had an amazing house and fantastic lifestyle. Her old band mate was a single mum on benefits, who started sobbing when they met up again about how this was her last shot, etc. Excruciating.

Did anybody see Chris O'Dowd on Graham Norton? Was he drunk or is he naturally so cringe?

MaQueen · 15/10/2016 21:13

bye we saw that. DH reckons he was definitely drunk. He was certainly slurring a lot toward the end of the show.

Aquasport · 15/10/2016 21:19

Place marking. Fucking excellent thread I commend you OP!

ByeByeLilSebastian · 16/10/2016 13:48

He was so hard to watch wasn't he Ma! I felt like they were trying to laugh along so as not to mske it too obvious.

Sunnymeg · 16/10/2016 14:18

The Mike Leigh play 'Nuts in May' admittedly it is written to be that way. Well worth a watch if you can find it.

TheColonelAdoresPuffins · 16/10/2016 14:24

Love Nuts in May. Also Abigail's Party

Aquasport · 16/10/2016 20:39

Arghhhh Abigail's party I'd forgotten about that

OP posts:
MrsJayy · 16/10/2016 20:54

Abigails party is that cringy it hurts i had to switch it off

Flamingo1980 · 16/10/2016 22:32

Ages ago there was a graham norton show where goldie hawn was on. She came out and greeted him. He gave her a kiss on the cheek, and stepped back. She went in for a second kiss but because he wasn't there she just ended up kind of sideways kissing/gurning into thin air.
Was the most awkward, cringed and embarrassing moment I've ever witnessed on tv.

myyoyo · 16/10/2016 22:35

Chris O Dowd's accent on Graham Norton was just bizarre.

YabuDabbaDoo · 17/10/2016 00:18

Sting and Craig David collaborated on a song with Sting giving "older, wiser man" advice to young Craig.. The acting in the video..

Applejack29 · 17/10/2016 07:52

Anything that came out of Mario's mouth on big brother was cringey, but the worst was when he was having a moan about other housemates leaving stuff on the bedroom floor incase Mikey who was blind stood on/ tripped over it. He finished his rant by exclaiming: 'Mikey has a disability...open your eyes!' Whilst Mikey stood awkwardly beside him.

WowserBowser · 17/10/2016 09:22

Yy Apple !

And the dunking of the biscuits.

I know they have now split up, but have you seen the recent staged photos of Lisa? Most bizarre.

Applejack29 · 17/10/2016 09:38

How could I forget about the 'nice, hot, juicy tea'?! - writing that has made my toes curl!

I haven't seen them Wowser I'll have to have a look.

annielouise · 17/10/2016 10:58

One that sticks out is Ablisa off X Factor. Two friends audition together and one ends up hitting the other! One of them tells the audience to shut up and then asks one of the judges, "who are you?". They're so painfully gauche and stroppy.

permanentlyexhaustedpigeon · 17/10/2016 14:45

Not TV so cheating a little, but reading Dawn O'Porter's remarks on her marriage to Chris O'Dowd - "I added the O to my surname as a homage to my husband" had my toes curling...

Mozfan1 · 17/10/2016 14:48

permanently YouTube her videos she did with Andrex about the washlets... Her talking about dirty bums made my skin fall off

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/10/2016 22:37

Dawn O'Porter is a walking cringe. You'd be hard pressed to find a couple more pleased with themselves .

EverySongbirdSays · 17/10/2016 22:45

Earlier today I saw the music video for the new Robbie Williams song. I was left reminded of a sleazy neighbour you try your best to avoid, who was a stud in his day but has gone to seed and you suspect has a record for some shady offence.

Cringe to the max.

TaterTots · 17/10/2016 23:06

Songbird 😁😁😁GrinGrinGrin

Mozfan1 · 18/10/2016 05:03

Lol @ Robbie Williams

Why are dawn and Chris so smug? It's wierd

MrsJayy · 18/10/2016 08:24

Hommage to my husband oh jeez that is smuggy cringy. Her husband is an oddball he always seems drunk,
