Binge watching sex and the city thanks to a horrendous cold.

The jukes and mimi viewing between Miranda and Robert is hilariously cringeworthy but also v v funny...

quim sorry can't find it either but I do remember the audition you refer to, I'm sure I watched it through my fingers whilst cringing.

There was a similar one on an early X Factor with a girl who turned up in what looked like an ill fitting wedding dress and her family all stormed in having a right go when the judges refused to put her through. Bonkers!

PlasticBertrand · 13/10/2016 15:16

OUCH, though apparently he was fine:

Smidgenpigeon · 13/10/2016 15:57

A pp mentioned Kinga masturbating with a bottle on Big Brother. Unbelievable.

PforPhoebeHforhoebe · 13/10/2016 16:37

I remember about 10 years ago there was an episode of house transformations going wrong. One of them being American dinner kitchen and mum hated it and another where the woman was collecting some jugs or something and tv made a special shelves to display them which collapsed breaking her jugs as soon as they opened the door to show her new kitchen . Would love to watch it again

EverySongbirdSays · 13/10/2016 16:42

I've remembered one from X Factor USA - did anyone see it?

Very sweet young girl was knocked out and devastated and sank to the floor. Another argument for you ng kids being too young for these shows.

Steve Jones was presenting, and he got down and sat next to her, but she then stood up because Simon came to console her and Steve Jones continues to sit there for ages presenting the show and looking a pillock.

EverySongbirdSays · 13/10/2016 16:45

Yes! Phoebe ! I nearly posted that - the neighbours kept commenting that the mum was so strict they couldn't believe she'd allowed it. The little boy had an ace Narnia bedroom that you got in via a wardrobe, they'd turned his door into a wardrobe.

The diner was awful and the poor Mum was like BUT THE WALLPAPER WAS FARROW AND BALL or something.

Jonsnowsghost · 13/10/2016 17:15

Every interview on the One show...someone coming to talk about an upcoming film or something and they get interrupted mid sentence by "yes but what do you think of this cow" or something equally inane

PforPhoebeHforhoebe · 13/10/2016 17:23

Yes every. I tried to find it on YouTube but failed ... tv gold

AntheaBelveden · 13/10/2016 17:44

I have to leave the room at the end of Strictly as "keeeeeep dancin" makes me shrivel with cringe.

Does anyone remember 'Street date' with Davina?

The whole programme was cringe, especially the episode when the girl changed her mind about the date and Davina basically chased her down the road demanding she explain herself.

HolesInTheFloor · 13/10/2016 18:11

I remember Street Date! I was minding my own business with some school friends in Bristol when some gurning Davina bounded up to me with a camera crew and screamed 'will you go on a date with that guy over there' at me. I just sort of shook my head and slunk off. I was 14 ffs!

PforPhoebeHforhoebe · 13/10/2016 18:18

It was changing rooms!

SooBee61 · 13/10/2016 18:26

Any episode of 'Triangle'

EverySongbirdSays · 13/10/2016 19:15

Pheobe - it was itv 'Home On Their Own' there's one episode on Youtube but not THE one.

Aquasport · 13/10/2016 19:36

Ooooooo changing rooms I remember one where this woman was appalled at what they had done, she looked livid! They had dyed mop heads and used them as curtain tie backs Shock

OP posts:
laylabelle · 13/10/2016 19:39

Katie wisell and her 'sod it!' sit down moment during the sing off..and she got through! Everytime was in the sing off so awkward to watch.

Oooo changing rooms! I remember the knickers/bra on display one. How they thought it was a good idea who knows

PforPhoebeHforhoebe · 13/10/2016 20:23

What a shame !

smurfest · 13/10/2016 21:40

A couple of the Richard and Judy afternoon chat shows spring to mind - one where they were promoting an early version of Child Genuis. Little Asian lad comes on and he's supposed to be able to add up really big numbers, but of course he froze completely and couldn't do it.

Another one which was much worse was when Kim from How clean is your house? came on to talk about her baby that she miscarried and then buried in a park.
Richard asked, in his usual completely inappropriate breezy tone 'so what is the latest women are allowed to abort babies?'
At which Kim is in floods of tears and Judy is desperately trying to save the situation by saying 'No Richard! it was a miscarriage. How can you ask that!?'
car crash tv..

EverySongbirdSays · 13/10/2016 22:13

smurf Christ, how did that man have such longevity? He was an endless car crash.

I'm currently cringing at a man named Gary on First Dates

smurfest · 13/10/2016 22:37

I don't know, Everysongbird...

lionheart · 13/10/2016 22:58

I've just remembered one. Nick Owen on Breakfast TV with Richard Carpenter as the guest, after Karen had died. Owen made that ridiculous Anna Rexia joke. It was unbelievable.

Lauren1983 · 13/10/2016 23:25

David Cassidy on This Morning (sorry can't find a better quality video)

missbishi · 13/10/2016 23:35

When Gary Lineker shat himself on the pitch in 1990 when we played Ireland during the World Cup.

TaterTots · 14/10/2016 00:09

*Does anyone remember 'Street date' with Davina?

The girl was on Right to Reply the next week claiming she'd been sacked because the TV company had kept hassling her at work Shock

YNK · 14/10/2016 00:12

Chocwocdooda mentioned it but didn't leave a clip

Joe Bartons French accent! Hilarious!
