Binge watching sex and the city thanks to a horrendous cold.

The jukes and mimi viewing between Miranda and Robert is hilariously cringeworthy but also v v funny...

OP posts:

The episode of Don't Tell The Bride where the groom had dwarfism and made the bride dress up as Snow White. He even hired six dwarf performers to dress up as, well, the other six dwarves and cavort around in a wood.

It wouldn't have been so bad if the bride hadn't specified a Snow White theme as her worst nightmare Blush

And, does anyone remember Would Like To Meet?

A bit like a self-help version of First Dates.

There was one woman who sat telling her date about the time her Alsatian licked her ex-boyfriend's balls during sex and he said 'Was that you?'

Her date was like Hmm
I was like Shock Blush

I give you Boyzone's first ever TV appearance...

17 years later it's still unbearable to watch.

Cross post with Leax !

When Linda Barker was on Changing Rooms and made some shelves to house the homeowner's valuable and plentiful collection of tea pots.

The weight of the teapots caused the shelves to collapse and all the teapots smashed.

The actual moment wasn't recorded shame but the wreckage was extensive.

MrsJayy · 13/10/2016 08:49

Oh I remember the Teapots crashing t the ground poor sod had been collecting for years. Anybody remember the changingrooms lawrence thingy did woman burst into tears calling it a tarts bodoir Grin

Smidgenpigeon · 13/10/2016 08:55

Yes, I remember the lady crying!

Alleycat1 · 13/10/2016 09:20

Tom Hiddleston on Graham Norton. Beyond boring with some long-winded unfunny story the gist of which my mind has blanked out, thankfully. Also when he did some unrecognizable impersonations of a couple of celebrities. Just stick to acting as total lack of charisma in real life.

MrsJayy · 13/10/2016 09:27

Yip Tom just stick to the acting he is smug and dull double whammy that

pooh2 · 13/10/2016 09:40

JFC Jasmine, that Matthew Kelly / Frank Skinner video is toe-curling. Skinner looks genuinely scared!

Snow123 · 13/10/2016 09:41

This from years ago never fails to
make me cry/scream inside... the look on the girls face as she has the dawning realization is horrendous... m.youtube.com/watch?v=oSRy6p-mLgE

pooh2 · 13/10/2016 09:52

This is the weirdest and most cringey children's TV show ever!

SnakeWitch · 13/10/2016 09:59

Everything about that proposal is hideous! Poor woman, I bet she really regretted it. I really hope someone comes along who knows them and can tell us what happened after!

pictish · 13/10/2016 10:07

I don't know about 'poor woman' although admittedly I did feel sorry for her.
I think public proposals are awful...they really corner people and put pressure on them to say yes where perhaps they otherwise wouldn't. She probably thought it was romantic but as you can see... it doesn't always work out that way. The poor guy looked ill.

BowieFan · 13/10/2016 10:36

I usually start to cringe when John Sessions appears on anything. Although his Laurence Olivier anecdote is amazing.

For anyone who doesn't know:

Laurence Olivier: "Oh dear boy, you should never pause on stage. I did once and I heard from the back of the theatre, "Oh, you hideous beast! You've just cum all over my umbrella!"" Grin

randomer · 13/10/2016 10:38

Greg Wallace making cauliflower cheese and forgetting the cauliflower.

Greg Wallace needing therapy to get him through Strictly

QuimReaper · 13/10/2016 10:57

GAAAA that virgin couple are so creepy! They sound like a couple of 10-year-olds, "we'll take off our robes and do foreplay" Shock Blush

We've all kissed that guy who tries to eat your face, imagine finding out you've just married him Shock

lionheart · 13/10/2016 11:16

I feel really sorry for the girl getting her results. Sad

Zigzigsputnik76 · 13/10/2016 11:19

Every episode of Naked Attraction.

Ollie Reed pissed up on Aspel.

Most episodes of The Word.

Keith Chegwin with his cock out on Naked Jungle

QuimReaper · 13/10/2016 13:27

Does anyone remember that season of X Factor when Stacey Solomon was so popular? There was another girl who was outstandingly boring and not doing very well, and then one week she "reinvented" herself and did the MOST cringe-inducingly false "over-excited" bit at the end of her performance, gabbling "oh ma daze I am just so excited AAAH!", in such an obvious imitation of Stacey Solomon, it made me want to die.

I got the feeing Danni Minogue had basically told her to be more like Stacey if she wanted anyone to vote for her.

pictish · 13/10/2016 13:41

That's a set up.

JoffreyBaratheon · 13/10/2016 13:59

I don't think anyone will have also seen this, and I can't track it down online...

In the 1980s, one of those then 'new' daytime TV shows (was it the one with Anne and Nick? I think it might have been....) ran this piece about this desperate wannabe woman who wanted to be a 'star'. Pre X Factor, etc and post Opportunity Knocks, etc so I think there was no real vehicle for desperate but talentless people who longed to be on TV.

She was fairly young, had a young family. They'd even re-mortgaged their home, or summat daft, for her to have a shot at 'stardom'. Her family had begged for her to be on the show, showcasing her amazing talent.

She was a below average singer, IIRC. Totally underwhelming, as it turned out.

And we never heard of her again.

I often wonder what happened next. That cringey, desperate bid for 'fame' followed by a resounding... lack of fame. We've seen it a million times since with the sob stories on Saturday night 'talent' shows. But she was unusually needy and desperate and her family highly delusional. It was real throwaway TV.

Also, what was the morning TV show where Paul Shane was a guest and a caller rang in to say he owed him money, on live TV?

NuggetofPurestGreen · 13/10/2016 14:10

I can't stop thinking about that Michael Jackson award one. Wish I'd never seen it.

QuimReaper · 13/10/2016 14:23

Joffrey I remember one particular audition on BGT which had two teenagers dueting "No Air". Their entire family had shown up to support them and it was the flattest, most out-of-tune thing I've ever ever heard. The family looked so startled and crushed when their little snowflakes were buzzed out, they really couldn't believe it.

I can never understand these mass delusions! Supportive is one thing, but they were convinced they would see them at the Royal Variety Performance.

Wish I could find the clip...
