Brownies behaved perfectly during Mass. Honestly, I'd not even to remind one once about not putting their feet on the kneelers, never mind anyone having the fidgets or being tempted to talk... My newest Brownie carried the flag & was übercute with it. Quite what was going on in the head of the Guide who I'd to tell she couldn't carry her handbag & the Guide flag I don't know. Not only was she set to do that, when I said she couldn't & was to give the bag to me or to one of the other Guides, she promptly handed it over to one of the other members of the Colour Party. The mind boggles, it really does...
A Very Lovely Brownie Mummy drove me all the way down to the local petshop as we were leaving coffee morning at the same time & it's a fair step - even in Inner London Sunday buses are pretty rubbish so I'd rather be hoofing it along to keep warm & even with it being a good 45+min walk (at c4mph) chances are walking's faster than bussing. Getting a lift, however, is preferable to both & a thing of Serious Luxury. I say a lift - it was totally & ridiculously out of said Brownie Mummy's way, I shouldn't really have accepted her offer. (I really do have some very VERY lovely Brownie Parents. They drive me places out of their way, they visit me in hospital, they support the Unit... I've even had parents offer to do shopping for me! Am a spoiled owl.)
Now curled up on my bed with blond!cat & suspect 4PM may see me sleeping. Was trying to summon the energy &...stuff... required to prepare & eat food of some sort, but I'm just too tired...
