It doesn't get better once they get older. DD18 isn't back yet from the party I dropped her off for at 7.30pm. They went clubbing after the party. I am just dozing on the sofa waiting for her. I've a splitting headache and have had only a couple of hours sleep. Grrrrr.

You are good to wait up for her! When DS is 18 I plan on hoovering his bedroom floor at 7am.

The cat woke me up by knocking a book and two bottles of water off my bedside table. Thanks for that, cat. Oh, also by shouting. She'll be asleep again after she's finished stuffing her furry face.

Woke up for pee (should have gone before bed), stumbled into table, everything fell to the floor, trod on water glass, which shattered underfoot. Am now picking glass shards out of sole of foot & trying not to bleed over rug.....

Sat in the bathroom shivering and feeling queasy as fuck, but nothing happening either end yet, except some horribly ominous stomach gurgling I can't be ill, I have to go to work.

Thinking of moving to colchester.I'm a new single parent with a 5 year old son. But nervous about whether colchester is multi cultural. Do not want my son to be "the only black child in the class". Any ideas on multi cultural areas?
