To expect my OH to wear clean undies every day?

I have just read the thread about the bloke not showering. My OH does not change his undies every day and makes his boxers last about 3 days. It sounds truly disgusting, but he doesn't smell. Is this normal? I could not ever imagine wearing the same pair of undercrackers two days in a row.

men don't have the same leakage (fo rlack of a better word?) as women tend to have.

I wear my pants from one shower to the next. 3 days maximum.

What is it with all these filthy men being spoken about on here. Yuck.

That's gross, and I can be pretty gross sometimes. Underwear has to be changed everyday, if there's none clean you go commando.

My ex did this, even when I left clean ones out for him. He never smelt either but it still really turned me off. What's your OHs reason for it - mine said that it was a "waste" of clean underwear

Who the hell are these people who don't change their underwear? It's really horrible, male or female.

You can get 4 days out of a pair of pants easy.

Day 1- right way round
Day 2 - inside out
Day 3 - back-to-front
Day 4 - back-to-front and inside out

Leakage or no leakage there's sweaty bollockness to take into account.

He just says that because his nether regions are showered every day, and don;t come into close contact with his pants (he wears quite loose boxers), they don't need changing. He does change his socks every day, though.

Gonna. Not showing DP this mantra or he'll double his 2 day rule to 4.
He also thinks it's a waste of clean underwear. He has a drawer bursting with clean undercrackers! I don't get it, but he won't move on it.

I bet you that he gives his arsehole a scratch through his trousers and/or boxers daily - my OH has 'dirtied' a few pairs doing this!

What are they all saving the clean underwear for? My ex wore proper tight little pants (a whole other battle that I also lost) so the fabric was on his bits all day! He always wore clean socks though, as apparently it's disgusting to wear socks for more than one day.

Are there really folk out there that do this.

If they don't do what I consider to be basic personal hygiene I'm really concerned about other aspects.

I thought clean pants everyday was standard.

It's beyond grim...as to 'a waste of clean underwear' it's just boxers, not vintage champagne.

And it's not like we have to haul our washing down to the local stream anymore for a good drubbing. You just bung it in the washer, job done.

Oh yuck. I don't get why he wouldn't put clean ones on after getting out the shower. So he takes them off and then puts them aside for the next day and puts them back on? That's pretty grim.

You may not notice the smell but I can guarantee he won't smell clean.

I remember a friend saying to me that she only changed her pants once every 3 days. I hope she was joking! I change mine in the morning and at night! Can't even sleep in the same pair. Gross.

I'll show him this thread when he gets back from his evening bike ride (no pants, just padded lycra shorts that he always washes after each wear.)

OPs DH it's fucking grim just wear the clean boxers ffs.

I change underwear every day, so does my DP, but even if we're lazing around all day, not doing anything bar gawping at the TV then I still will. Women have discharge/leaks more I guess.

DP does this. He doesn't smell.

Although someone upthread wears pants to bed - now that is a no-no in my book!

I would expect everyone to put on clean underwear each day, it's not difficult is it.
