Only been on it two weeks and already I'm fed up with it. It's so depressing.
I'm doing Sw but have no enthusiasm for it. Feel so fed up. I know I've got to keep going but meh. Someone give me a pep talk quick before I eat something bad.

Oh Mummyme you sound so sad.
What you have experienced is life changing and your brain hasn't caught up yet.

Being On A Diet seems to be making you miserable and a reminder of the differences in your body.

Is there something you could do, in addition to the mindfulness, that would help with adjustment? Something that would get you into a place of starting with love and respect for your body. The food stuff will follow

You've really been through it my dear, be kind to her

It's been four years now, I've adjusted as much as I can. My lovely dp is fab and we are happy together. But declining health is so hard to deal with. I've had physiological help. It's just the thought of dieting for years that has depressed me a bit. But thank you for your kind words.

OP I was watching the show Embarrassing bodies because they were showing an obese lady and her journey losing weight.

She had to be on a shake diet for 6 weeks or something. But she did it in hospital so she wasn't tempted. Is that something you could do?
